We booked this B & B as the revues on tripadvisor were so good. The good things are first the price in a VERY expensive city, the location isn't too bad as we found some bus routes nearby.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, although the lady who looked after us, making breakfast which is done in reception and served on a tray in your room, and cleans the rooms, does not speak english. Luckily I speak some italian, but make sure you have your phrase book with you, a lot of italians don't speak another language. The manager who checked us out speaks fluent english and kindly checked us in on- line and printed out our boarding cards. Our room, 3, of 5 was quiet at the back. The room is not a bad size as is modern bathroom. Only negatives were curtains unlined so bring an eye mask, I had a tall cupboard beside my bed instead of a table which had a spare bed inside for another bigger room, so I think it unfair it is stored in that room. Also their leaflet shows boiled eggs for breakfast which we never had, although the toast and mini croissants, jam and yoghurt were very nice as was the coffee, but no tea offered. I am being honest with these things but really they are not very important and we would recommend this B & B to all. One more thing, when you arrive there may not be anyone there, so you phone the number on the plaque on the wall, and someone will come.
