It was a small apartment, with a kitchenette. Decent enough continental breakfast. We were a family of 4. The bedroom was a decent size, with 5 beds. The rooms were tidy and clean. Location is great for the price. Approx. a 15 min walk from the Termini and there was also a metro less than 5 mins away. The coliseum is about a 20-25 min walk away. In fact on one day we did not buy any transit passes, but walked to the coliseum, Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Novano, etc. and back
the area is not the best. not that it is bad, but just not the best part of town, there a couple good restaurants (which were recommended by the owners) within a couple of blocks, but overall quite limited. Also, we had booked for 3 nights, wanted to change it to 2, but they were unwilling to reduce the booking amount – which would be standard procedure in most hotels.
Also, the only window in our room faced the inside of a square shaped building looking into other apts, and hence we were a little uncomfortable leaving it open
