“Really welcoming!”

This was our first ever trip overseas and this is the first place we stayed. It was so nice to stay in a lovely clean room and the decor was really lovely. We stayed in the family room and it is pretty much exactly as it is presented on the website. Really warm and very clean. We loved Alessandro and his Mum Erika, they were so nice and very welcoming and helpful. A real family atmosphere. It was a very convienient location with a supermarket and restuarants nearby. Just one word of caution, it is a bit daunting walking past the big park near the metro station at night. Just play it safe and catch a cab back if you are out late. Having said that, we went out plenty of times in this location at night with no problems - the park is the area to avoid at night. If you do go out, visit Red restaurant nearby, the staff (Alfredo and Salat) are just lovely and the food is fabulous. Honestly, we will never forget this place - we loved the room, loved the family, loved Rome and the Italians!

“Lovely, clean & comfortable B&B near Termini in Rome”

We spent a wonderful 5 nights in the quad room at the Momi. The rooms were spotless and the place had a lovely homely feel to it. The owners take great pride in their B&B. We given breakfast supplies in our room to have each morning - fruit juice, coffee, tea, toast, croissants,cereal- which we found very convenient. There was a small lift to take our bags. Convenient to metro stop, 15min walk to Collosseum and about 10min to Termini - although longer with bags! Owners arranged for transport to airport too.

“Kids favourite hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 November 2010

We stayed in 3 hotels during our italy trip, this one was the kids favorite. There were four of us, we booked the 5 pax apt which meant we had a bed each. The apt had its own bathroom, and a little kitchen which was stocked with breakfast essentials (including expresso machine). Not a lavish breakfast, but adequate and one could always supplement from the supermarket. The apt is separate from the rest of the B&B it seems, so once let in we were left alone, which suited us (but if you want to meet other travellers, don't book the 5 pax apt). Plenty of hot water for all of us to shower. The room was at the back, so quiet at night. Location is close to the Metro (but the Metro is'nt always much use in Rome), and 15-20 mins from the Colosseum, so pretty good for the price. We walked form the station, its only about 15 mins. Would recommend using a satnav to find it though (or at least print a picture of the building, so you know when you have arrived, there is no sign!). Would definitely go back.

“Decent B&B, good location, value for money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 May 2010

It was a small apartment, with a kitchenette. Decent enough continental breakfast. We were a family of 4. The bedroom was a decent size, with 5 beds. The rooms were tidy and clean. Location is great for the price. Approx. a 15 min walk from the Termini and there was also a metro less than 5 mins away. The coliseum is about a 20-25 min walk away. In fact on one day we did not buy any transit passes, but walked to the coliseum, Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Novano, etc. and back

the area is not the best. not that it is bad, but just not the best part of town, there a couple good restaurants (which were recommended by the owners) within a couple of blocks, but overall quite limited. Also, we had booked for 3 nights, wanted to change it to 2, but they were unwilling to reduce the booking amount – which would be standard procedure in most hotels.

Also, the only window in our room faced the inside of a square shaped building looking into other apts, and hence we were a little uncomfortable leaving it open
