This little B&B is well situated, near the Colleseum, from the airport we decided to take a shuttle that would take us directly to the B&B since the price was not all that different than taking the train, we appreciated that. I would suggest this to anyone that is planning on going to this B&B. Our welcoming was really nice, they made us feel right at home from the start. The B&B is quite small, tucked away in a private courtyard like many hotels in Europe. We had the room behind the secretary erea. When we got into the room I was amazed at how pretty and original the room was, now keep in mind this is a B&B and not the Ritzs. All sorts of coffee and water is free of charge, umbrella's and bikes. The erea is safe to walk at all times of the day. You may also purchase site tickets directly from them.
OK..so now for the breakfast part! Also, keep in mind that this is Europe..Yes, you must go out of the B&B to a local little place for breakfast. For me, I thought it was ok..u had fantastic coffee, you could have a croissant or a sandwich, I had both and enjoyed them both. This is not your typical ham, eggs place...and in fact in Italy you will NOT find that anyway. If you are looking for something that they do not have than this is not your place to go too.
The bed: a little hard, beds are very personnel from one person to the next..for me I did not sleep all that well, I read that some other ppl loved the bed..this is a personnel thing.
The room was very clean, towels were changed everyday..the shower was great..lots of hot water, we also had a private courtyard with a table, chairs, plants.
Our last night we wanted to eat localy, wow....the service that I received by the 2 gentleman that were there was amazing! They went out of their way to give us different options as to where to eat, and they were spot on..
I would go back in a heartbeat...
