we booked this through a comparison site on the internet and didn't know where we were staying until we paid, we paid just £80 for 2 nights for the both of us.
We read the reviews about the location before we left so we knew it was far out, we just did our homework before we left so we knew how to get into Rome.
To be honest after spending 12 hours wondering around the streets of Rome (which was amazing) spending another hour getting back to the hotel was a real pain, and given the choice we wouldn't go back to the same hotel again.
Anyway, the hotel was ok. The staff miserable and unhelpful, but we didn’t really care about that. The room was good, shower gel, towels and local TV. The beds 2 singles pushed together and there was no kettle in the room, but it was clean.
I think you can find most of the info about bus numbers to catch and transport for the area in other reviews. One thing we would like to add is about a local place to eat. If you walk out of the hotel and turn left towards Penny market and take the next right (just before the petrol station) there is a little pizza place (with a mini casino next door) tucked away a hundred meters down the street - which was really good.
One last tip - we went to catch the Terravision bus at 8am (to get to the airport for 9 ish – gate closed at 10.10am) but could not get a ticket for the 8.10, or 8.30 bus and the 8.50 bus didn’t come until 9.15am - (the airport Chiampino is 1hour away) so give yourself plenty of time
Overall, OK but stay nearer Rome – your legs will appreciate it
