I had reserved this B&B and unfortunately did not get to try it out. The reason is that in contrary to what was written on the venere.com webpage the place is not 5 minutes from Termini but more something like 30-45 minutes. So obviously we arrived one hour too late and found a post-it informing us in a quite insolent tone that our reservation was ceoncelled due to our late arrival. Even after calling and explaining repeatedly our situation to the owner we had no chance so we had to look for a new place at nigh in Rome after a long trip. Well what is the lesson we learned? If you need a reliable place which thinks also about the customers and not only about the comfort of the owner do not go here!

I am ready to wait my guests even more than one hour, if there is a valid reason for a delay. I mean, everything can happen: your flight/train may be late, your baggages can get lost, you may not be able to find my place (even if it is 50 meters from the subway station). All I'm asking is to send me an sms to warn me about the delay - in case it is more than one hour - If you think this is asking too much, well, you'd better book an hotel with a 24 hours reception instead. I care about my guests and treat them as friends, and I expect them to treat me in a friendly manner too. I just don't like careless people. By the way, the metro line A takes you from Termini to Manzoni in 3 minutes (two stops). If you wanna walk it, it is about 1.500 meters, it would take me about 15/20 minutes to walk it.
