We booked four rooms at the Residenza Vaticana and everyone was more than pleased with them. One of the 3 rooms was really small. The beds were confortable, the (small) bathrooms clean, and the staff was very helpful and very friendly. Breakfast can be served in the room, everyone loved the coffee and the croissants.
The area is nice, safe and quiet (can be a little noisy in the street side rooms). Everything is in walking distance, the next bus stop is only 5 min away.
We really enjoyed our stay here and would def. come back.

We had a very nice stay in this hotel. The staff was both really friendly and very helpful. Our room was small but nice and clean, quite sufficient for an extended weekend-stay. The location was very good - much much better than in the area of the station. Lots of nice cafés, restaurants and shops in the neighbourhood. We could easy walk to all the great historic areas in the city.

Our only complaint, and it is a minor one, is that we didn't get freshly boiled coffee or espresso in the morning. Instead we got coffee from a coffee machine.

I really liked this hotel, the staff was super friendly, the room was nice and quiet. Also, I loved the proximity to the subway, it was very easy to get around rome! We also enjoyed their "fun house" mirror in the hall, very cool. The overall vibe of the hotel was family style and we loved it. Tip: the airport shuttle bus leaves you only blocks away from the hotel! Walking distance!!
