“Value for Money!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011

Nice place to stay. Little far from the mainstream Rome but still not too bad. It is near both Rome's train station and a Metro station (Castro Pretorio). Both these places are walking distance. So travelers can easily purchase metro cards and given Rome is a small city, it does not take much time to travel around. In fact the best thing is the fact that there are number of restaurants and bars nearby which are relatively cheap because they are not in mainstream Rome. Rooms are kept clean. A buffet breakfast is also available which is pretty decent. I would say good value for money!!

“a bit far from Termini”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 November 2011

There were lots of hotels around there but maybe you'll find this hotel easily.
There're lots of place to eat(price range is wide;you can choose from pizza to smart italian restaurant)
And also there's a the supermarket near this hotel.
Breakfast costs 6 euro per person.

When we stayed were the end of October, during night and early morning were a bit chilly
in the room. But the other things were not bad.
I don't know if I were come back next time,or not.But maybe you can enjoy here.

“Ideal and good value”

My second stay here. I stayed one night en route to Casperia and it suited my needs perfectly. 10 mins away from where I was dropped off from the airport and less than 5 mins from the metro for my onward journey. Clean rooms and nice staff.

“You get what you pay for”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 September 2011

Rome is very expensive and this is a reaonably priced hotel, with clean rooms which were serviced daily, fairly pleasant staff with good english skills and located close to the termini train station. There is also a cheap bar across the road which is very lively (it's part of a hostel but good atmosphere) and a nice restaurant just two doors down. If you had a room at the front I expect it would be noisy but we were at the back and it was fine.
However, it is not really that great a location for the sites of Rome so you need to be prepared for a lot of walking or use the Metro/buses, which are close by. Our room was clean but that's about the only positive. The air con was very ineffective, tiny TV on top of the tall wardrobe, small shower, and dark outdated room. My bed was comfortable but my friends matress was old lumpy and springy. Luckily we were in a triple room so she could swap the matress!
I think if you just want a clean base without many other expectations for your accomodation then it's ok, but I would sincerely hope that something a little fresher and more modern for the same price could be found. There was no fridge, tea/coffee facilites, safe or other amenities in the room!
Some of the reviews said the area was unsafe but we found it perfectly fine, as two females, and never felt any problems regarding security.
Our room price didn't include breakfast so I can't comment on the food but the other negative was that the free Wifi was only intermittantly available and you had to go to the breakfast room to be (90%) sure it would connect!

Room Tip: Make sure the room is at the back to avoid street/bar noise.

My MacBook Pro Laptop and my parents Ipad was stolen out of the room. The hotel said they would reimburse us for the stolen items. We are still waiting for the check and will let everyone know if we get it or not.
