Stayed here for 1 night (60 Euros) because we had an early flight and wanted to be close to the train station. The room was small, dark and depressing. We didn't need to share a bathroom, but the bathroom was across the hall. Not sure of the hours kept by the staff. We had to ring a bell each time to get in and there was no one available 10pm-6am for check out.

the hotel was just what we needed, perfect location, walking distance to everywhere (every major landmark), plus, most important, the owners are so very warm and friendly, BUT, you´ve got to try Italian language, just be kind and educated!!! if you want a genuine Italiane experience, go there!! Run by veru Italian owners, super kind, total sweethearts:)

The hotel is perfect if you need to catch an early bus to the airport. The hotel is literally 5mins walk from Termini Station.
It is easy to reach the main attractions by foot (of course if you are willing to walk all day). There are a few places to eat around the hotel but I wouldn't recommend either one...
The couple that owns and runs the hotel are nice and cheerful all the time, but they hardly speak any English. It is good that I had installed GoogleTranslate on my phone - it is quite useful for a asking few questions ;).

The easiest way to find the hotel is to look for the MarcoPolo signs. The hotel is on the 4th floor of an old building which host a couple other hotels. The restaurant downstairs is noisy, especially if you room overlooks the internal part of the building.

Even though the hotel is rated as one star, it has all the amenities you would find in a 3* one: mini-fridge, safe, TV, AirCon, WiFi, hairdrier, double bed. The Bathroom was a little dodgy, but hey, at least it wasn't shared.

This hotel is very close to the Rome Terminal. It is located on the 4th Floor. It is run by the same family on the 3rd Floor - Marco Polo Hotel. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The room is small but the bed is comfortable and the AC works well. They charge 1 euro for the small bottle of water in the room, but you can buy the water at the supermarket in the Rome Terminal for .50 euro for a liter bottle of water. If you don't mind drinking fountain water like the locals, there's plenty of cold water fountains in Rome. Just recycle your bottle and refill it.
