We were told on arrival that our room was cancelled and we would have to pay more than double the amount if we wanted a private room. We could have a dorm room at the same price but as part of a honeymoon this was definately not acceptable.

This hostel if you can even call it that has been without a doubt the worst place we have stayed at. the place was crawling with bed bugs, the man who greeted us when asked if he liked rome said 'no the tourists annoyed him' (actually pretty funny really), the toilet didnt work and we were moved from the hostel to a dingy little apartment. DO NOT STAY HERE. we would have tried to get our money back but we left at three in the morning to head to the airport.

The worst hostel we've stayed in! When we woke up the whole bed, including our own sheets were filled with bedbugs :( . We managed to stay one more night but left because it was so disgusting! They were everywhere, also on the walls! Furthermore there was only one knob on the stove, the toilet was broken and it was ' raining ' inside.. We left two nights earlier than expected, we did get our money back though, for the other two nights.

There are almost no other travellers, fromt he 10 beds only 4 were taken! That has a reason!
Better to just pay a little more than stay here and have problems with bedbugs the whole vacation!!

DON'T GO HERE!!

We arrived at the address emailed to us only todiscoverthat we were housed in a "unit" in a seedy part of town near Termini. No signs on any of the buildings so call before you leave the train station or airport. We were very close to transport and sights. Hop on hop off bus close to termini but get a map and walk the back streets.
