“Beautiful rooms and helpful staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 November 2011

This was my first stop after a very long flight, and I was extremely impressed. The rooms were of a good size, very modern, and clean. The staff were pleasant. I was allowed to help myself to all the drinks in the fridge provided for free. There were 8, soft drinks, water, and fruit juices. This place was definitely excellent value for money. I only stayed in Rome for one night so needed to be in between the town centre and the airport, which the hotel was. It is approx. 20 minutes into the city and to the airport from the hotel via public transport. The breakfast was also excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

“Amazing Clean Modern Hotel, with helpful friendly staff.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 October 2011

Arrived at the All Time Relais & Sport Hotel to be astounded by how modern it was, Stayed in a deluxe suite, had a slight issue with the jacuzzi bath, but the receptionist was only to welcome to help. Had an arrangement of soft drinks in the mini bar all free. Only a quick call in the morning for breakfast to be delivered, had a large selection of croissants, rolls, ham, cheese and jam with juice of coffees. Very friendly staff through-out. And when checking out, the receptionist gladly booked us a taxi to arrive when I asked. I Would definately return.

Helpful tips to the Hotel using public Transport:-

When arriving at Fiumicino airport, Rome, go to train station, follow signs in airport.
Get the train that terminates at "Termini" and jump off at the "Ostience" station.
then Metro to EUR Palasport, (on the Laurentina/Rebibbia line, heading towards Laurentina)
once at Palasport, come out onto the street, you'll see a bus stop 777 outside but you will need to walk about 3 minutes along the road to another bus stop, the bus you need is number 778, jump on, I showed the bus driver the address and he stopped the bus at the stop for us) you dont need to pay (we saw many people just jump on and jump off a few stops later without paying!!)
Stay on the bus till you come to a AGIP Petrol Station). Jump off and your at the Hotel.
That bus doesnt run that regulary so you will have to wait a while, but it will come.
This journey cost about €24 for the 2 of us, and took about 2hours.
The Taxi too and from the airport is €45 each way!!

Room Tip: Definately fork out for the Deluxe, the extra money is for jacuzzi, bigger room, free soft drink min...

“The sports hotel which is not a sports hotel.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 October 2011

Arrival
Arriving at the hotel late night on the 6/10/2011 there was no room service, we could not order food or drinks (neither for our whole stay). Receptionist said "if you want to drink or eat go to the bar outside of the hotel". The toilette was broken and with continuous flow of water, and we could not sleep in the night of our arrival. They did not check the room before our arrival although we paid for the whole day. No compensation or sorry from the staff!!!

Transportation
There is no shuttle bus to the airport and if you arrive late you are looking at around 45 – 50 Euros for 13 kms with a taxi unless you are Italian and know the bus routes which most stop at 12 midnight. The hotel is very far from Rome centre if you use public transport, otherwise be prepared to pay a taxi 30 - 50 Euros for each single journey. However if you choose to stay in this hotel then some advise on saving money on transport: You need to take the bus with number 778 or 708 for half our trip to the nearest metro station which is Palasport. There is a bus every half hour so if it is winter or autumn, be prepared to wear warm clothes or you will freeze. Then you need to take the metro for another 9 stops (another half hour) until the main train station in order to be able to visit the different points of interest.

Location
There are no supermarkets, decent restaurants in the area. The hotel offers poor breakfast nothing related with sports nutrition.

Food - Drinks
There is no decent food or drinks after breakfast time. Forget it!!! And this is a sports hotel. Flashnews: Do they know that people doing sports need nutrition and supplementation? I guess another gimmick to get clients! I was devastated as I am doing sports professionally and expected at least something more with protein than eggs in the breakfast.

Gym
The gym is a public gym with many people using it, however you can use it without a fee. We did not use the pool because so many people were doing aquaerobics leaving just one lane empty in which 10 people swimmed. There is also a glass window overlooking the pool for spectators. The sports bar? Its a joke. 3 old sandwiches and lots of soft drinks. Fresh Juices, proteins, sports nutrition? ha, you wish!!! if you are in bodybuilding make sure you take your aminos and proteins with you (as well as cooking equipment or canned food). The equipment is old Technogym but substantial to exercise decently.

Other services
When we asked a cable to use the Internet they gave us a cable 10 cm long. There is no wifi so you are stuck in using your laptop on the dressing table. No room service. Actually no service at all besides the crap breakfast. Make sure you close well your room door

Verdict
Will never return back. This hotel needs a decent managerial staff to reinvent it and realise what a sports hotel should be. There are falsely advertising as sports hotel. They should be advertised as the place you go to starve yourself.

“Be very alert with Laura”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 June 2011

Very simple!!!. I had six beautiful nights from 5/9 till 5/14. Therefore, we decided to stay for another 2 days when we can back from Genova prior to our return to the States. I showed the site with the price to Laura/Manager and she sent me back an email with a higher rate arguing that she didn't know that much about that site. She gave us all the excuses and also charged my Amex with another 36 EUR that we paid to Expedia.
We notified the authorities in Rome to follow suit. Please, be sure that she doesn't hurt more tourits and her own coleagues that are wonderful

Room Tip: also Laura will get you down with the type of room

“Lovely, stylish hotel, very nice staff members, absolutely happy with my stay there :-)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 March 2011

I moved to All Times Relais hotel after staying one night in Lloyd hotel in Rome (where wifi did not work, and staff was not very helping, and, absolutely empty- did not see anyone in the hotel during the stay). The only minus of All Time is location (but was no problem to me, only took 30 mins to get to town, bus No 708 just around the corner from hotel will bring you to EUR Palassport metro station (Bus stop name is America Beethoven) where you can catch the metro line B to Termini station or Colliseum, or wherever you want to go… Only cost’s 1 euro for metro-bus ticket which is valid for 75 minutes or else you can get 4 eur ticket for all day for busses and metro (the one for 1 euro you can get in the bus, throwing in 1 euro coin in the machine) going back you would have to get off on bus stop named Don Borghi Beata Vergine del Camelo (there are 3 Don Borghi bus stops, so it’s the third one- but you can always ask people on the bus, everyone is very nice and helping in Italy).

Going back to the hotel and its services- the hotel is exactly the same as in pictures- it’s very clean and nice. The people, who work there are very nice- I had a flight at 6pm and had to ask for a late check-out (usually it’s 10 in the morning) - absolutely no problem at all, I checked out some time around 2 pm, after I went for swimming pool, sauna and Jacuzzi before my flight back home :-) The breakfast was good- the waiters very attentive, and quite good selection of fresh fruits, muesli’s, yoghurts, pastries, juices… I think full Irish breakfast was at the additional cost, but hey well, when in Italy eat like Italian’s do  I was absolutely happy with that :-) It is nice to come back from all day walking around tour to this lovely place.

The swimming pool facilities are not only for hotel use, they are for general public as well. That didn’t bother me, well it’s not the luxury 5 star SPA hotel, but if you want to have a nice swim after sightseeing and have some relaxing time in Jacuzzi or steam room- it’s all good. Staff in there are very helping as well.

All in all very pleasant stay. Thank you guys for everything! :-)
