We stayed at the room with shared bathroom & kitchen on the top floor. And beautiful rooftop terrace was a bonus. It was really enjoyed to sit there. Room was small, but clean. Кitchen a little confused - refrigerator and microwave, but very few dishes.
Staff attentive, especially maids - helpful and kind. Staff at the reception smart and friendly - gave a map and showed the best route. Excellent tasty breakfasts as home.
Convenient location near Termini.

I booked this accomodation for Rome on the website [--].

I booked a single room with shared bathroom for 4 nights which was going to cost between 45 and 65 euro per night. I was quite happy with this as the accomodation is centrally located in Rome to both Rome Termini Station and all the places a visitor to Rome would want to see.

Unfortunately my problems started right from booking. I never received a confirmation of my booking via email. I phoned them and explained the scenario and was told not to worry about it as they had recieved my reservation and it was all OK and booked.

I then proceeded to get the train to Rome from PIsa (3 hours), and turned up to the check in desk. I was informed that there was no reservation for me and that i needed an email confirmation to prove that I had made a reservation. I explained that i had not received one but had phoned and was told everything was ok. I was then informed that they had no space for 4 consecutive nights and was advised to try another hotel!!!!

I thought that this was not right and continued to argue the muck up. I was offered a single room with shared bathroom for 4 nights (as i wanted) but it was going to cost 70 euro per night. and that on the third day i would have to swap to another room. That was fine...i needed somewhere to sleep!!!

Well the third day arrived and i turned up to reception and was told that i needed to swap rooms as instructed at check in. the person at reception said to me that i now dont need to change rooms and i can keep the same one for my last night.

I then commenced my day trip to Pompei. On return I had a note on the door saying not to enter as new guests were in there and that my luggage was at reception......well that made me hit the roof. I was then apologised to for the "mix up". and was moved to a completely differnet hotel for the last night.

PLEASE NOTE: this is not a bed and breakfast as they do not offer breakfast which i found out on arrival. This was a complete botch, and to be honest, management dont't have a clue what they are doing!

As for the room itself it was OK...clean, tidy and had a TV. What you would expect for that price.
