“One of the best camping ever visited”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 January 2012

Me and my girlfriend spent there two nights in a tent in June 2011. We arrived past midnight and there was a very helpful guy at the reception. We could chose whatever spot we liked. The camping is like an international village: people from all over the world (especially USA) come to enjoy the Italian capital city. Bathrooms are huge, very clean and look new and there is always music. Excellent location: free bus (quite frequent) brings you to a train station where in 20 minutes you reach the Rome city centre (I believe train is 1 €). Then you can get lost in the City - the best city I have ever been. We spent 30 € a night - a bit pricey for a camping but it is what you pay to be so close to Rome (checked all other campings and prices are pretty much all the same)

Definitely go there, anyhow you will not stay in the camping long with such a city to visit....

“a disapointment”

Before embarking on our travels around italy, my partner and i researched review after review and after much consideration booked this place. We were pretty disapointed with the experience due to a number of reasons:
1. if your not staying in a tent and have your own car then the camp is really far out of the city which is a drag when you are lugging rucksakes about
2. the surrounding area was unappealing due to the fact it was pretty run down and we could not find anywhere nice to eat round about. one night we ventered out of the campsite into rome in search of a good italian meal. however due to the distance fro city and juggling of train times we missed the last train. eventually we managed to find a bus that took us near by then we had to walk the rest. we did not feel at ease due to the number of groups of dodgy people wndering about.
3. the cabin type thing we stayed in was extremely damp, leaving our clothes stinking. freezing during the night but sweltering during the day. paper thin walls we could hear EVERYTHING the people next door and out side done.

“It is what you pay for”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 October 2011

We paid for the cabin, which was tiny, but we knew it would be. The showers are not so dirty, but I wouldn't shower without flip-flops. My only real complaint is that they don't have free wifi, you have to pay and it is expensive. That and the staff who gave me the wrong change and when I told him he got rude and said that I had to check it in front of him. As if I was trying to steal him for his precious 1€.
And it is very far from the city centre. About 1hour ride to your destination, changing trains 3 or more times. And if you miss their last shuttle from the train station to the camping (23pm I think) you have to walk some kilometres in the dark to get there.

“Noisy, broken beds”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 October 2011

This place is cheap for Rome. It takes about 1hour to get to termini station but the journey is cheap and easy. The park is ok. This is the 2nd time we've stayed there and both times the beds have been either broken or past their best, being very uncomfortable. This year we were kept awake every night until at least midnight with noise from the bar. On the final night we went out to complain at 0100, as we had an airport transfer booker for 0415 to find it was the park staff partying. Even after asking them to be quiet the noise continued...I don't think I'll be staying there again!

Room Tip: As far away from the bar as possible

“One of the better campings”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 October 2011

We were worried about the travelling to the city center, but it was OK. We stayed in a small mobilehome and only problem was, that the windows cannot be locked, so it is a little bit unsafe. We tried also pool and local restaurant and both of these things were very good, prices in the shop were also OK. If I return back to Rome, I will stay here.
