“Lovely comfortable room in a quiet and well located B&B”

I can only say good things about this B&B.

Our room was spacious, clean, very well furnished and incredibly quiet by Rome standards!

The B&B owner and staff although not on site all of the time (they can be contacted 24/7 by telephone if needed) were very kind and extremly useful in helping us to get our bearings and to get to grips with Romes public transport system.

On a personal note, it was my wife's birthday while we were staying at A Casa di Serena and when we arrived back in our room from a busy day visiting the sites we were greeted by a lovely birthday cake, a bottle of Prosecco and two glasses - Perfect!
That sums up what you get if you stay at this B&B: - An excellent and personal service delivered by people who truly care.

The only improvement that I could suggest would be an "on site" breakfast offering. Coffee, orange juice and a croissant in your room should be quite easy to achieve.

“A Touch of Class”

My friend and I had a lovely stay at A Casa di Serena. Serena, as well as Rodell ( sorry I did not ask about the of spelling of his name) were very attentive. Our room as well as the entire guest house had elegant touches that one would find at more expensive hotels. We had stayed at a nice place in Florence before arriving in Rome and were pleased with our new accomodations. A Casa di Serena is located in a seemingly safe neighborhood close to the Vatican. Although the location was very close to the Metro, on most occasions we chose to travel to most parts of Rome by foot. We very much enjoyed eating breakfast at the little eatery across the street as well as other meals at great restaurants close by. I highly recommend A Casa di Serena a San Pietro.

“Enchanting and full of suprising delight...Casa di Serena is that good!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 October 2010

Serena (our hostess) is a delight! She aims to endlessly surprise. Little touches which mean a lot. Serena is always available for any questions and assistance. The rooms were simply outstanding. On the first night, we had the smaller red room but it was "wow" for us since we didn't know what to expect. A welcome drink was waiting for us. On the second night, Serena moved us to the bigger blue family room and we were "wowed" again. The bathrooms were similarly well-stocked with toiletries. The living room and entrance area were also very charming. For a treasure of a find, a quiet B&B with value of money (living in seeming luxury without paying through your nose), Casa di Serena is IT!

“Great base to stay when visiting Rome.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 October 2010

Travelled to Rome for the first time with friends and stayed at Serena's after it was recommended by someone else. We were not disappointed, Serena's rooms are lovely, spotless and comfortable. Our room had a separate bathroom but I believe it was for our exclusive use, our friends room had its own bathroom. Serena was very helpful with information about the surroundings and Rome in general. The location is good - you can walk to most of the major sites from there, even though it is closest to the Vatican. The neighbourhood is not touristy, lots of locals. If you're looking to live surrounded by other tourists then an area like the Spanish Steps might be more suitable for you. We enjoyed our stay very much, and the value was great. Thanks Serena!

“Comfortable, clean and welcoming.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 September 2010

What a great little place for the money. The room was small but comfortable and nicely furnished. The bathroom was across the hall and very basic. We felt very safe at this B&B and Serena was an excellent host. The location was perfect as it was only a 10 minute walk to the Vatican and right across the street from the metro. It was very easy to get to all the sights from here.
