“cute place but....”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 February 2011

The host is a very nice woman and the decor is trendy for the price. It is very close to Termini Station and location to get around was great. Unfortunately, I did not like the common area of the kitchen. The smell of other guests cooking food was overwhelming and unpleasant daily. I traveled as a solo woman and found it uncomfortable to enter the B&B nightly and have no way to turn on a hallway light. I think if you are on a tight budget or young travelers that this place is a good stay but if you can afford a little bit more to spend on accomodations that you should upgrade.

“AVOID”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 September 2010

I am not one to complain and take bad reviews of places with a pinch of salt as i understand people's expectations are different. However, i could not find one positive thing to say about this place besides the location (& whilst it is near the station it does still make getting around at night a bit difficult unless you a) want to hang out by the train station or b) are prepared to pay for taxi's) & that it was clean
We waited an hour to be checked in. Had to change rooms half-way through our stay as they had over-booked, shower was either freezing or boiling (no note on our door advising of this). Staff just gave the impression that they couldnt be bothered. I really couldn't understand where all the notes in the kitchen and hallway came from thanking the place for 'the best time ever'. It's by far not the 'Best Place'.

“Enjoyable”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 July 2010

I travelled to Rome for a short break with my children aged 16 and 10. Bernadetta emailed me with her phone number as to let her know when we would be in Rome as it is her business. We ended up waiting for her outside the b&b. There was road works at the bottom of the street. Bernadetta was full of apologies, of course and couldn't wait to get us off the street. You need to get up to the apartment via the lift, which only operates by closing the doors, if not it is over 80 steps you have to climb to get to the 4th floor where the apartment is. Once inside, Bernadetta gave me a set of keys, 1 for the front door, 1 for the apartment front door and one for our room. She also showed us the kitchen where there are a selection of buscuits, for breakfast! The room was spotless. As there were 3 of us there was a single bed and a double bed. A hanging rail for out clothes. A table and chair with kettle, tea, coffee etc and a few coffee tables dotted round the room. Breakfast was also on the table which was 3 pastries, 1 each. The bathroom was en-suite and that too was spotless with towels for each of us. There was a circular floor standing fan in the room too but if I'm honest it wasn't enough to cope with the heat but the weather is nothing that one can control.
It is in a noisy part of the City, but it is on top of everything which is ideal for all the sight seeing you have to do.
We did find a supermarket just round the corner that you can supplement the breakfast provided if you want to.
The only complaints I do have is that nothing was ever said about the method of payment for our stay. A note was left in the room asking for the cash to be left either the next day or the day after. So people have the cash ready do not expect to pay by debit or credit card. Also the shower was tempremental with it's temperature but there is a note left on the door explaining this but it's still a shock to the system.
Would i stay there again? Yes more than likely but not if I went in the summer again as air conditioning is needed!

“This is a DUMP”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 July 2010

This is not a Bed and Breakfast, breakfast is derisory. The room we got was so small it was not possible for two people to be standing at the one time. The double bed was two very old beds pushed together making for very uncomfortable nights sleep. The place is NOT clean. The shower is tiny and the minute bathroom floods, usually with cold water, when you use it. Avoid this place like the plaque, there are better places for the same cost.

“Unbeatable location, considerate hostess”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 May 2009

The location cannot be beaten--just two blocks from Termini Station, but away from the hustle. Quick laundry, internet point, and several restaurants are within two blocks. There is street noise at night, but earplugs worked fine.
We travel with a wheelchair, and Benedetta did everything to help accommodate us--not an easy task in the center of a European city.
I have never seen rooms as cleaned and straightened up daily elsewhere.
We would definitely stay here again.
