I travelled to Rome for a short break with my children aged 16 and 10. Bernadetta emailed me with her phone number as to let her know when we would be in Rome as it is her business. We ended up waiting for her outside the b&b. There was road works at the bottom of the street. Bernadetta was full of apologies, of course and couldn't wait to get us off the street. You need to get up to the apartment via the lift, which only operates by closing the doors, if not it is over 80 steps you have to climb to get to the 4th floor where the apartment is. Once inside, Bernadetta gave me a set of keys, 1 for the front door, 1 for the apartment front door and one for our room. She also showed us the kitchen where there are a selection of buscuits, for breakfast! The room was spotless. As there were 3 of us there was a single bed and a double bed. A hanging rail for out clothes. A table and chair with kettle, tea, coffee etc and a few coffee tables dotted round the room. Breakfast was also on the table which was 3 pastries, 1 each. The bathroom was en-suite and that too was spotless with towels for each of us. There was a circular floor standing fan in the room too but if I'm honest it wasn't enough to cope with the heat but the weather is nothing that one can control.
It is in a noisy part of the City, but it is on top of everything which is ideal for all the sight seeing you have to do.
We did find a supermarket just round the corner that you can supplement the breakfast provided if you want to.
The only complaints I do have is that nothing was ever said about the method of payment for our stay. A note was left in the room asking for the cash to be left either the next day or the day after. So people have the cash ready do not expect to pay by debit or credit card. Also the shower was tempremental with it's temperature but there is a note left on the door explaining this but it's still a shock to the system.
Would i stay there again? Yes more than likely but not if I went in the summer again as air conditioning is needed!
