“Near Termini, Metro, Santa Maria Maggiore Church”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 October 2011

The location is great. It is 10-15 mins walk from Termini, the central station. 5mins walk to Santa Maria Maggiore church, 15-20 mins walk to Collosseo, and 3 mins walk to Metro. I called great location.

I stayed there with my friends, we are in 5, and divided in two rooms (one with extrabed). We stayed the for 2 nights. The room is clean, the bathroom is clean as well. There is 5% discount if we pay in cash.

There is a free WiFi to access. And the staff is friendly and very helpful.
We enjoyed the stay.

“A room with no windows in an hotel without any breakfast room!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 July 2011

I booked the Forus Inn online because of its location in Via Cavour, close to Termini and Santa Maria Maggiore. The location is very central indeed but when I arrived I was given a room without any window which was just about the size of the double bed in it! I complained immediately and was told that it was the only room available (at more than 80 Euros per night!) and that actually there was a window in the bathroom (this was a microscopic opening onto a neighboring wall less just a few meters away with no view of the sky and very little light coming from it!).
On arrival I was asked what I wanted to be served for breakfast and given a set of predefined times as, I was told, the hotel does not have any dining room or lounge and therefore breakfast is served in the room (which by the way has no table or desk but just a little shelf!).
Overall, I found the hotel definitely overpriced for what it is and would not recommend it to anyone given there is plenty of other places to stay in the area at about the same price!

“Just excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 July 2011

The hotel is an easy walk from Termini station and is close to the Roman Forum. The location is perfect for sightseeing. The staff were extremely helpful and the rooms were spotlessly clean. I would stay here again and would recommend it to friends.

“I would definitely come back”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 March 2011

I stayed in Forus Inn with two girlfriends and it was a good deal for a room for 3 (1x king size bed and 1x single bed). The guy at reception was a nice guy with many tips for restaurants as well as sight seeing places in Rome.

This hotel is somewhere in the middle of Collosseo and Termini main station. You can take Metro Station Via Cavour or Termini. But for a group of 3 I would recommend taxi for the spots nearby as the average price per person is almost the same and u get more comfort.

I was really impressed by the bathroom, as with that price I would never expect that cleanliness. breakfast was good, different choices, but you have to eat in the room, so it´s a bit inconvenienent as breakfast will be delivered at a chosen time, so u have to wake up at the time u chose. But it does not really matter as we were there for travel, not for sleep :-). Elevator is as others in Rome a bit old and small.

The price is mid-ranged (there are many many cheaper options), but for sure it was worth the money as the service and room quality were really good.

From the outside, it looks like a normal app house but be ready to be surprised by that great place.

“Great location, great staff at this hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 November 2010

We stayed here for 5 nights in September, and used two different rooms.

The first room was pretty small but had a lovely spa, which was great at the end of a long day. It was also a very quiet room with no outside window except the one in the bathroom, which opened out onto a small space between buildings. Not an issue for us, but no view if you wanted one.

After the second day the staff offered us an apartment on the same floor, which was much larger and had windows that opened out onto the main street, Via Cavour. While it was noisier because of the traffic outside it was great to have some room to move about and a window to look out of.

Both rooms were very well kept and clean and the staff were excellent, pointing out resturants and directing us to tours and the Colloseum. We had a fantastic stay here.
