“Federici's bed and breakfast was convenient and friendly.”

Our stay at Federici's in Rome was a good experience. The breakfast room was a nice place to gather not only in the morning for breakfast but also in the evening for a glass of wine and a recap of our day. There was no air conditioning, but they had ceiling fans and floor fans. They were quick to fix any problem we may have had and the staff was friendly. It was a very good location close to the Vatican and the Metro. It was a secure building with a locked gate in front of it and the doors were kept locked to each floor. There was an apartmend building which shared the front gate. We never had any problems with the security. A good place to stay at a good price if you don't mind not having AC.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 September 2010

Fabio was an excellent host. The rooms were clean and very convenient to the Metro Station which was very nice.
The breakfast was very good and we met some very nice people.
I would stay there again in a heart beat. Very Nice.

“Clean, nice and quiet place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 July 2010

I've stayed at Federici from 31st May to 4th June with my dear love. Fabio was very helpful and kind. He showed us everything on the map and gave us useful advices. With his help, we saved hours as we knew where to go and what to see. The breakfast was more than perfect... that says everything. The location is 1 min. to the metro, but in a quiet and safe place with kind and warm feelings in the place.

I recommend to everyone who would like to stay at a nice, clean place close to the metro and to shopping areas.

Thanks for everything!
Cheers,

“This small boutique hotel is really...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 July 2010 via mobile

This small boutique hotel is really everything you'd expect from Rome: classy!

This place is run by some friendly people who really make your stay worthwhile. The rooms are very comfortable and all amenities are high quality. The (included) breakfast is excellent as well. It's a good place to go for all kinds of people. Families, couples, etc would all have a great time here.

The hotel isn't located in the middle of town, but there is a metro station right next door and Vatican City is within easy walking distance.

Some minor complaints we have about the hotel:
- there is not enough hot water in the mornings
- there is no internet available (no pc and no wifi)

Other than this the place is perfect!

“Highly recommended!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 June 2010

I stayed at the Federici B&B for a week and have absolutely no complaints whatsover! It's very conveniently located within walking distance to most major sights, and it's right next to the metro in case you don't want to walk. The host, Fabio, is really friendly and helpful, and the rest of the staff (who do the cleaning and the breakfast) might not be very good at English, but are very friendly and eager to help in any way possible.

Some have noted that the breakfast could be better, but having traveled quite a lot in Italy I can assure you that the breakfast in Federici is really good by Italian standards. Cereal, bread, pastries, yoghurt, butter, jam and cheese spread, coffee (great coffee!), tea and apple juice (and eggs on Saturdays) is all in all a very fine breakfast and easily competes with breakfast in finer hotels. So save your calories for lunch out in the town :)

The B&B does not have wifi which is the only thing I would consider a con, but there is an internet cafe right around the corner if you need to get online. The tv gets loads of Italian channels and the only English channel I could find was BBC World.
