We found this wonderful B & B in a book that we purchased at Indigo Books way back in 2005. We have returned to this little treasure every summer. We absolutely love the location, and we now feel like it is our home in Rome. The hospitality provided by Nicola, the owner, is warm and friendly. He ensures that every detail of your stay is taken care of. The rooms are quaint, quiet, extremely clean and air-conditioned. You are only a 10 minute walk away from the best Pizza you will ever eat, which is located at San Marino's Ristorante. You can also get pizza by the slice in a great little "hole in the wall" just beneath the building of Casa Di Giorgia. It's absolutely amazing!!!
The best form of travel is by Bus or taxi. Buy your bus tickets right at the convenience store downstairs and walk across the street to the bus stop. Make sure you take the bus that brings you to Piazza Barberini, (a great starting point), which will take less than 15 minutes from your B&B. From Piazza Barberini, you are now only about a 10 minute walk to the Spanish Steps. It is also a great location to pick up a taxi to take you to many other tourist attractions.
If you don't like big hotels and like the feeling of a quiet, little B & B, then this is the place for you. No need to look any further. The price is right for all the amenities and, of course, the location.
Casa di Giorgia is the best kept secret in Rome. You will not be disappointed!!!!
