The most spacious room in which we've stayed in Europe. Fantastic location with interesting artwork in a beautiful building, right in the heart of Trastevere. The innkeeper is very courteous and helpful, and full of information on where to go for food and drink in the area. The bathroom is cramped but functional, and the hot water arrives quickly - so long as you are okay with that, this is a marvelous place to stay, and with the antique furniture and view out the windows, very romantic. The breakfast coffee service makes for a great way to start any day in Rome (be aware the breakfast is a typical light Italian breakfast.).

We spent 5 days here while visiting our daughter who was studying abroad in Trastevere. The apartment was beautiful- just as advertised on the website. The owner, Elisabetta, who lives next door, basically tucks you in on arrival & then leaves you alone unless you need help. Breakfast magically appeared each morning, and the coffee machine was great. The bed was by far the most comfortable of our trip. The neighborhood was pretty quiet at night. We walked to the Vatican (25 min), Colosseum (30 min), & Pantheon (15 min) from our apartment. Yes, the shower is quirky (but there is a tub). Lastly, a new addition, Satellite TV allowed us to watch the Green Bay Packers live. I highly recommend this B&B & would definitely stay here again.

This quirky apartment is contained in a gorgeous block a EUR40 taxi ride from Leonardo d Vinci airport. So if there are three or more of you travelling together, a cab is both cheaper and more comfortable than the train.

For the price this place is really a gem. True, its charms are a little “shabby chic” but the uniqueness and location more than compensate for any small discomforts. Modernists and minimalists may be better off looking elsewhere.

The same should also be said for those over 5ft 8 or more who would be uncomfortable bending slightly in the shower. But for my two friends and me, who stayed there for three nights, we could not fault it.

So, you walk in and find a small kitchen with a Nespresso, cartridges and plenty of teacups and cutlery. You’ll also find a microwave, a fridge and shelves full of guidebooks in many languages to help you get the most from your visit.

The walls are covered in murals of angels, a nice Roman touch. The main bed is upstairs in the mezzanine and there’s a sofa bed downstairs. Both were comfortable and were made up with clean sheets – clean towels were also supplied.

The neighbourhood is full of bars and it’s a beautiful area to wander around in. I would definitely recommend this accommodation and would book there again.

Lovely duplex room - spacious, high ceilings and very comfortable - so unique and more interesting than staying in your average hotel.
Excellent location, right in the heart of the Trastevere area, really lovely area with some great restaurants. Within walking distance of all main sights.
Rome is a beautfully charming city and staying at this b&b helped make visiting this city such a memorable one!
