Although we were not totally dissatisfied with the room, we really were mislead. We booked a hotel but we got a very small room in an auxilliary building a block from the hotel. In Italy the hotels ask you to return the key to the front desk when you go out. The only saving graces were the friendly staff and the excellent location near the the Spanish Steps. The room was on the 2nd floor (walkup). with a window facing a busy street and restaurant which at times was pleasant and even romantic when Italian music was playing. The other great thing about the hotel was the friendly helpful staff who made suggestions for our daily adventures. For what we received, the price was too high.
