There is no better spot to stay in Rome if you plan to take the train to or from Civitvecchia, the local cruise port. The bed and breakfast is two short blocks from the train station allowing you to wheel your luggage on level ground without having to access the metro system which involves up and down countless stairs. The breakfast is amazing and the location allows easy walking access to the Colosseum / Forum. The train ride to the cruise terminal is very affordable and an easy walk both ways. The rooms are comfortable and clean and Giovanna and her family are very welcoming and helpful.

We spent some time at Giovanna's a few years ago. The rooms were great. This has become our "place" in Roma. It is in a great area and close to the Termini. I am high maintenance, and this place met my expectations and exceeded them!
Another nice thing, when you leave there, you will have a new friend, Giovanna!

Very well located for train travelers (just a few blocks from Termini), and with
some nice restaurants in the neighborhood. A good price for a decent budget hotel in Rome.
Small but clean room & bathroom en-suite, with free Internet access in the hall downstairs.
Breakfast is varied, but unfortunately not freshly made and therefore nothing to write home about. However, the lovely staff (all family members) make definitely up for this one and only minus. Will return!

Giovanna is a sweetheart!...was recommended by a friend of ours. We had an a great deal for one night. The b&b is two blocks from termini...very easy to get to from airport...after taking the train...They have a great reception area...

The rooms are a bit small but lovely kept...BUT BEST OF ALL is GIOVANNA...she is a sweetheart...really cares about the guests...keeps them happy and bends over backwards to assist.

Her breakfast is great...not just continental...but you have pastries...and tomatoes...and brushcetta...and basically whatever she thinks is fresh at the time...

Must stay here...dont expect a large room like the ones in the states...however EXPECT GREAT SERVICE!!!...you will not be dissapointed....

Thanks Giovanna for making my wife and me feel better than being at home!...
