My wife & I have just returned from a long weekend in Rome with friends. I'd chosen Valeria's Guest House after reading some great reviews on the internet. It's not exactly central but, then again, it's very close to the Vatican and not that far from the tourist centre. For example, the quickest walking route to Piazza Navona is through St Peter's Square & across the Vittorio Emanuelle II bridge - it takes less than 15 minutes. The lovely Liana greeted us and couldn't have been more helpful in recommending places to go, things to see and how to get there (the #46 bus featured heavily). Both double and twin rooms were well-appointed and comfortable - there was some early morning noise from elsewhere in the apartment block, but it didn't disturb us too much. There not much of a view from the small balcony, but it didn't matter - it was a pleasant place for a pre-adventure morning coffee or a star-gaze to accompany a glass of wine. Had a busy weekend, but came back rested.

“A Taste of Italy”
Valeria's Guest House was perfect for our first trip to Italy. Located right outside the Vatican walls in a residential urban area within walking distance to St.Peters Sguare and tourist attractions. Our apartment was lovely and quiet, It was the perfect escape after a busy day of touring, We will definately stay at Valeria's when we return to Rome.

“Celebrating a special birthday in Italy”
We were very pleased with Valeria's guest house and would highly recommend it.
We had a two bedroom apt with balcony in a quieter part of Rome close to the Vatican. Amy the owners son met us and gave us an orientation to Rome and the expresso maker.
The fridge was stocked with essentials such ascoffee, juice, milk, water and there was a nice variety of cereal, bread and cakes for breakfast.
Valeria's was at one end of historical Rome which involved quite a bit of walking on our part however the buses were great and we were just off the famous bus #64 line.
