Very comfortable - not 4 star. A long way from the centre if you are bothered about travelling in Rome. Could do with a larger sign from the main road. Directions to hotel: Metro to Cornelia. Then bus 246 to the panorama supermarket. Walk up the supermarket entrance slip road, turn left at the top and follow signs. Not easy in the dark/1st time.
Did not use any of the leisure facilities, too busy sight seeing. also cannot comment on the restaurant, but breakfast certainly set us up each day. Staff all pleasant and helpful.
Very good value for the weekend deal we got.

It was far from the city of rome but was interesting experiance the hotel was black! lol pretty cool. They had a pool out side it was freezing cold!! but the surrounding area was nice and quite.

I visited the hotel in september 2011 and due to reading reviews on trip advisor was a little worried however could not change the hotel due to travel agents. however I was overall satisfied.
we arrived earlier than check in but our luggage was locked away until we returned back after our visit into the city centre. The journey DOES involve a bus and a metro HOWEVER its extremely cheap for both services and the lady at the reception sorted it all out for us even with her little English. The journey does take approx 45 minutes. however takes a about 1 hour on a Sunday due to waiting for the bus.
The supermarket is extremely cheap and great for water at only 30c a bottle. (much better than buying in center as really expensive)
The hotel room was on the third floor average size but fitted 3 of us comfortably with clean well kept en-suite with lovely shower however we was in a large group and the some of the males struggled with the slanted roof (but only due to being rather tall)
Breakfast was average, plently of option but taste was not wonderful.
Being a group on the last day we wanted to use the pool but it was not open even though we we read it was until November however on request they opened it, obviously cold but it was the end of September.
safe would not open but on request someone sorted it out promptly.
overall staff were friendly and helpful and for the value of money i would stay here again and recommended to anyone who doesnet mind walking to the bus stop and sitting on the bus/metro but when your with great company who cares :)

ROME ITSELF IS AMAZING. ALTHOUGH WITH A GROUP OF FRIENDS STILL FOUND IT MAGICAL AND CANNOT WAIT TO RETURN. NOTE: up the side streets food is cheaper and nicer along with staff being more friendly. Look on websites for advice we did and found a lovely places to eat.

The worst nightmare ever



The title says it all, but here are a few details in case you still consider going:

- 7km away from the center

- Need to walk + take a bus + take a metro to reach the center in the day time

- Only Taxi to come back at night

- Maid comes in to make your room even if you are still sleeping

- Hot water? Not everyday

- Room temerature? cold and not adjustable

- Breakfast? Basic and bad

- Wifi? Evrey second day

- TV? yes but low sound and not adjustable

- Service? not even polite

- Room cleanliness? Moisture in the bathroom vntilation system...


I hope this will prevent you from experiencing this nightmare hotel.
