If this hotel was within walking distance of an underground station it would be an excellent tourist hotel. Although access to public transport is easy, and cheap, the addition of a bus ride from the underground station and then a 8 - 10 minute walk (up hill) makes it inconvenient if you want to go back for an afternoon rest period, Probably not suitable if elderly or an unsteady walker. However, that said, it is very good value for money. Yes the inside is dark but the rooms are bright, very comfortable and clean. Breakfast is typically 'continental', cold meat, cheese, cereals, if early scrambled eggs and bacon available. Buy a container and take enough to make a good lunch! Staff are very helpful but remember, this is Italy - not renowned for being very quick to react to customers!
Supermarket is good, sells hot Pizza with a cafe attached. No restaurants within walking distance.
Overall a nice place to stay, clean, modern but inconvenient.
