You couldn't ask for a better location, or for more welcoming and helpful management. My wallet was stolen on the bus between the train station and Piazza Navona (beware of the 64 bus - it has a reputation for pickpockets!) but when we went to check in with Emanuele at Navona Antiquariato, he immediately rang the police and I ended up getting my wallet back with all its contents (my wife was carrying the cash!) 2 days later.
Our apartment (the deluxe one on the 1st floor which was very fairly priced by Rome standards) was delightful. With the lounge windows open, you can watch the comings and goings across the road in Piazza Navona. With the windows closed, the traffic noise is almost completely blocked out. There are also a number of very nice eating places within a few hundred yards of the apartment (Serena has left a list in the apartment which you can rely on totally) and, as other reviewers have said, all the main attractions can be reached on foot. Having now found this place, we wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else in the City on future visits.

Casa Navona feels as though it is in a small village rather than in a large city. The immediate area is wonderful to explore and has a friendly intimate feeling... there is a lack of busy traffic, it is only minutes to Piazza Navona and not much further to the Pantheon. An everchanging lot of street musicians, artists, in Piazza Navona was enjoyed each day as we made our way to Campo di Fiori for provisions. The apartment is very comfortable with its separate bathroom, small but very practical kitchen. It is beautifully appointed. The only disadvantage for some would be the lack or lifts.. the stairs are steep at the end of a days walking

We first stayed here over New Year in 2009 and booked 2 of the apartments as we were 8 adults with 2 young children. The apartments are spacious, clean and literally a stones throw away from Piazza Navona which is full of great cafes and restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay so much and found it to be such excellent value that we booked again as a smaller group for New Year 2010 and again we weren't disappointed!

Would recommend these apartments to families with young children as they have cots etc, or groups of friends.

Casa Navona is only 20-30 metres north of Piazza Navona. The Pantheon is a five minute walk and the Trevi Fountain a 10 minute walk. The Vatican is a 15 minute walk across the picturesque bridges that cross the Tiber. This means that the apartments have an excellent location, which is also perfect for exploring old Rome

Casa Navona is nice, clean and comfortable. The owner/staff were incredibly professional and helpful. And finally I really recomend using the pick-up service for transportation from/to the airport.
