We went in January - we found the hotel really easily although from the outside it wasn't too obvious. You just have to press the buzzer. The building has other things as well as the hotel, such as solicitors and possibly appartments. Anyway the hotel is only small - I believe 5 rooms in total. We had an amazing view of the Vatican. Angelo said it was the best view that they had. It was room 1 - the corner room. We emailed in advance to say that it was our first visit to Rome and a view would be appreciated. Rooms clean and the bed was nice and big! Bathroom was quite modern but for some reason the water smelt a bit funny. I'm not too sure if that's just the water in general though or if the hotel can do something about it! Anyway, we got breakfast on time everyday, croissants and yoghurts with a choice of tea/coffee/cappacino and delivered with orange juice too. Simple but nice. It was nice to eat in our room at the table near the window with spectacular views! It wasn't loud at night, I think the town dies down at about 10. Walking distance of tram lines, the underground and st peters square and the Vatican. The underground was so quick and easy to use. We made a mistake of buying a 48 hour pass on an open top bus - big mistake - there is so much traffic that it's just a waste of money. We used it twice! Anyway - back to the hotel - we will definitely go back next year! There are restaurants near by and everything on your doorstep. A tip with the restaurants would be to look for the places that are full rather than the ones that look really fancy and you will find they are not expensive and really nice food! Oh, and in the hotel the fridge has drinks in it ie coke, beer, fanta ... All 1 Euro each. Amazing value they are at least 4 euros each just for a coke outside of the hotel! And try to book tickets in advance for the Vatican! We walked straight in! Hope this review helped :)
