I stayed there for three nights with my girlfriend, for a "surprise gift" weekend. The B&B is a three-room flat on 1st floor, with a small kitchen where guest can have meals, cook and store food in the refrigerator. Our room (103) was quite small, with bathroom and TV, facing the backyard, so no noise at all from the outside. Everything is clean, breakfast is basic but you can eat as much as you can. The B&B is located in S.Giovanni in Laterano area, 15 min walking from the Coliseum and Termini Station, and has a metro station (Manzoni) in the proximities (3 minutes walking). Not much like Kensington... but not even like Bronx I'd say!
If the other guest are nightlife addicted sleeping might not be very easy, for rooms are very close one each other and walls quite thin...
I don't know exactely prices and I'm not going to look for them (it was a present!), but my girlfriend told me it was definitely a cheap accomodation compared to mean prices in Rome!
