“Perfect location!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 February 2011

We went to Rome in February. After our cold winter weather was awsome (+ 15/17 degrees). Few words about hotel: perfect location, right in a center; friendly stuff, good rooms (a little bit noisy though). Breakfast was poor but for 3* hotel it' ok. If you're going for a few nights and don't want to spend lots of money it'll be a good choice. Have a nice trip!:))

“Great location, but choose another hotel on this street!”

We stayed at the hotel for three nights and were pretty disappointed. The owner was the most unfriendly woman we've ever encountered at a hotel and was quite rude most of the time. We arrived at 12.15pm and there were no rooms ready, even though the check in time was from midday. We had to wait in the luggage room until about 1pm, and when we got into the room in stank of cigarette smoke. Rooms were large and bathroom was good, but overall it was pretty dirty (fan in the room had so much dust in it, we cleaned it ourself upon arrival). Fair bit of noise from traffic outside of room, but it is a main street of Rome. Breakfast was from 7.30am-10am, but you have to get there early because the food wasn't replenished and anyone eating at 9am had a very limited selection as a result. But not too early, we arrived at 7.30am one day and they were still setting up until about 7.45am. The breakfast area is also very small, only has 4 tables for 2 people and therefore cannot provide breakfast to many guests at the same time.

“Good place to stay”

I went with a group of friends, we were all 5 girls that stay in a triple bedroom and a double bedroom, at the Hotel Martini in Rome. It was easy to access the hotel, situated at the Via Nazionale, walking distance from the Termini Station and several monuments.
The triple bedroom was nice, spacius, with a clean bathroom with a shower, but one of the beds were more like and extra bed. The windows were big, with a view to the road.
The double bedroom was smaller and had troubles with the hot water. It was too hot and no cold, and there were 40º celsius outside! It took them at least 2 days to solve the problem and my friends had to shower at my room.
During our 4 days stay we saw 5 different recepcionists! But the night guy was a little too friendly to one of my friends, always telling she was "bella" and had nice legs. Please...
The breakfast was monotonous, but, for me, as long as they have coffee and milk, bread and butter, i'm ok with it, and their expresso was very good.
The last night we only had 2 towel for three people and the reception guy couldn't find any more!
Above all, the best of it was the air conditioned, because the weather was very hot during that week.

“If you like to destroy your trip, this hotel will perfectly help you”

we spent one day in the hotel and paid 100 euro for a very bad and dirty room. I believe that it was a single room which until we came there they added another bed in the room. we could not even move in the room.
I wish I could attach a photo of breakfast table !!!!
When we checked out at 12 they asked us to pay 10 euro for keeping our luggages until 3 in the afternoon.
The woman who is responsible for the hotel treats so badly.

Location is excellent, near the public transport and many points of interest.
Clean room. Very pleasant staff. All in all, we liked it there.
