It was the best trip ever. The hotel is perfect, the service, the owner, the staff, the rooms. Everything.....

We were at this hotel in Dec 2012. Family run hotel. Rooms are Ok. Clean and tidy. Bathroom was quite big and had more amenities than I expected. Great breakfast with a lot of variety.Breakfast room was a little too small and would get crowded easily. The brothers of the family who run the hotel helped us a lot in giving advice on reasonable places to eat in Rome and also places to see. Highly recommend it.

We stayed at hotel Golden just before Christmas for two nights. We are a family of four (two teenage daughters) and our room was very spacious! The family that runs the hotel is very nice and very accomodating. Breakfast was excellent, the room was spacious, beds were very comfortable and it was VERY clean. It is in a good location for walking to the sites or catching the subway. I would highly recommend it.

My husband and 2 teenage daughters just stayed there for 6 nights over Christmas. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. The hotel is in a charming apartment building right off Via Venetto. The 2 bedrooms were very big and they each had a big flatscreen TV. We could not believe how much space we had. The master bedroom also had a couch in it. The apartment had a dining room table. I would highly recommend this hotel to families. The hotel is run by 2 brothers and their families. Each one was really nice. I would also recommend this hotel for young people. If my daughters wanted to stay in Rome when they are older, I would feel really comfortable if they stayed in this "family" environment. The only downside was that one night an upstairs neighbor had a party and it was a little noisy. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would stay there again.
