“Good budget option in centre of Rome”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

We stayed here for 3 nights in February. The room was a good size and very clean as was the bathroom. The furnishings were a little dated but the bed was comfortable. The reception staff were very friendly and very helpful. The location was good, about a ten minute walk to the Trevi Fountain in one direction and about a ten minute walk to the Colosseum in the other direction. The breakfast provided in the mornings between 8am and 11am was baisc but sufficient. Fresh bread rolls and croissants are delivered to your room, butter, jam. Nutella and Philadelphia are provided in the fridge in the room and tea, coffee and cereal are provided as self service in the reception area. The only negative comment I can make about this place is that because it is situated on Via Nazionale it is a bit noisy from all the traffic. It seems to die down a little around midnight until around 7am so if you are a light sleeper you may need ear plugs! This really is a good value option for the centre of rome. I was very pleased with the standard of accomodation and level of service we recived for the price we paid. If you are staying longer than 3 nights I would think the traffic noise may begin to grind you down a little, but for a short stay for people who are on a budget I do not think you will find much better than this.

“Good B&B”

The room was large enough, not as spacious as shown on photos but good enough. As a B&B, do not expect 3-star level hotel. Location is just about right, not so far from Termini, 20+ minutes walking, but if you have many luggage, then it might be a long way for you. From and to FCO airport, I use the connection bus provided by Terravision Company at 8 euro round-trip - the cheapest way probably. It is a 40-minute bus trip. As someone said, you need to look for the sign "Miami Hotel" in front of the big building at 230 Via Nazionale, use the elevator on the left to 5th floor, ring the door bell to enter reception. Susana is excellently helpful in providing information and assistance for your travel plan using her excellent English. There is a Chinese restaurant very close to the hotel for those from Oriental and does not want to take daily VIP (very Italian pizza). On arrival at Rome, you should look for a bus map and use the public bus to go anywhere you want to go. Buy a one-day ticket at 4 euro, or 3-day ticket at 11 euro, or weekly ticket (I don't remember the price) and enjoy unlimited use of bus and train. Do not change British pound to euro in Italy, terrible exchange rate!

“Very nice and friendly hotel”

We found this hotel on Tripadvisor and everything it said was true.
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpfull. We had a nice room with spacious bathroom an a comfortable bed. The location is on perfect walkingdistance to the major attractions: Trevi, Old City, Pantheon, food and shops. Even the walking distance to the Vatican is not too bad. Trainstation is also on walking distance.
We would recommend this hotel to our friends and would certainly go there again ourselves.
