We stayed here for 3 nights in February. The room was a good size and very clean as was the bathroom. The furnishings were a little dated but the bed was comfortable. The reception staff were very friendly and very helpful. The location was good, about a ten minute walk to the Trevi Fountain in one direction and about a ten minute walk to the Colosseum in the other direction. The breakfast provided in the mornings between 8am and 11am was baisc but sufficient. Fresh bread rolls and croissants are delivered to your room, butter, jam. Nutella and Philadelphia are provided in the fridge in the room and tea, coffee and cereal are provided as self service in the reception area. The only negative comment I can make about this place is that because it is situated on Via Nazionale it is a bit noisy from all the traffic. It seems to die down a little around midnight until around 7am so if you are a light sleeper you may need ear plugs! This really is a good value option for the centre of rome. I was very pleased with the standard of accomodation and level of service we recived for the price we paid. If you are staying longer than 3 nights I would think the traffic noise may begin to grind you down a little, but for a short stay for people who are on a budget I do not think you will find much better than this.
