“Great value, pleasant stay”

Wonderful place - the nuns are helpful, breakfast is good, our room was spotlessly clean and, amazingly for Rome, absolutely quiet. The location is great - a metro station is just around the corner, there's a grocery store very close by, and it's an easy and pleasant walk to the Colosseum. Great value - we would stay there again any time!

“Cleanest rooms ever and what a convenient location !!”

For our first trip to Rome, we decided to check out a convent run hotel much to the trepidation of some members of the extended family who worried about facilities and curfew timings, etc.. We based our choice on the positive reviews this hotel had recieved on TripAdvisor. The price seemed right and the fact that Indian nuns were part of this convent made it even more attractive- someone from our country in a foreign land.

We were not disappointed one bit - Giusti has some of the cleanest rooms ever. They were simple rooms but cheery with their yellow bed-spreads. The towels and linen were snow-white. The rooms and bathrooms were generously sized and one room had a lovely balcony overlooking the garden at the back. Breakfast was adequate - coffee, tea, crusty bread, pastries and yoghurt. The nuns were very helpful - full of advice about where to go and how to get there. They even arranged for a van to take all 8 of us and our luggage to the airport for a very good price. There was no curfew timing as such - you rang a bell and they buzzed you in.
Though the immediate street is not so attractive - the neighbourhood is very pretty with some good shopping to be done as well as great food - we had some of the best gelatos here as well as some Turkish kebabs. Just a few minutes walk away from the main railway station as well as the Colosseum and other sights, Giusti is well located.
All in all, Giusti is a great experience and we will definitely like to go back there.

“Very cheap, very clean, very comfortable”

I stayed here with a friend who speaks fluent italian and took me to show me Rome as I had never been before. We were on a tight budget so flew Jet 2, got the train from the airport and then the Albergo Giusti is walking distance from the Terminal.
From the outside it is not particularly pretty but inside it is very clean and whilst the rooms are basic they have everything you need and are very clean and comfortable.
The ladies and nuns on reception are lovely, speak several languages and are very helpful with sightseeing and restaurant recommendations.
The bedroom had a balcony, two single beds which were very comfortable, tv, hairdryer, ample large towels and an ensuite shower room with shower caps and shower cream.
The room was spotless and the towels and bedlinen were changed everyday.
All this for 90 Euros a night per room inc breakfast and taxes.
The location is very good, a few steps from a metro which goes directly to The Vatican and walking distance to several of the sights of Rome.
If you want to visit Rome but are on a tight budget and want a clean, comfortable and centrally located hotel then you would be hard pressed to find anywhere better than Albergo Giusti.

“Great value for Rome in a superb location”

This is a lovely friendly place which is ideal for a city break if wanting to avoid Rome's extortionate hotel prices. Rooms are basic but comfortable and very clean. Bathrooms are again clean and more than adequate with a good shower, plentiful hot water and lots of towels. Rooms are air conditioned which we didn't need but would be great in the heat of summer. We had a room with a balcony (an unexpected treat) facing out on to the street which was absolutely fine, but a bit noisy on a Saturday night.
Breakfast was adequate - yoghurt, bread, jams, cake etc juice and coffee/tea. Dinner is available on request.
The Sisters are friendly, speak lots of languages and very helpful indeed. Internet access is available if required which proved very helpful to us when one of our party had his wallet stolen on the Metro - others beware !
It was our first time staying in this type of accommodation and we would not hesitate to book it again.

“Perfect Place in great location”

This was the first stop on a 26 day trip throughout Italy. I was travelling with my two children ages 16 and 12. The hotel was located in a quiet neighborhood in between Santa Maria Maggiore and San Giovanni en Laterano. It was steps away to the metro stop and there was a grocery store directly across the street. We stayed in a triple room that had great space and it's own bathroom. Although it is definately not fancy or posh, it was quaint and totally adequate. The nuns and staff were very accomodating giving us a few recomendations on dinner and mass times. We had our favorite dnner in Rome at a small trattoria al fresco in the neighborhood around the hotel. I look forward to staying here again on my next trip and highly recommend Albergo Giusti.
