“Rugby Lads in Roma!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 February 2012

6 guys (5 over 70) stayed here 3 nights for the Italia v England Rugby. Arrived late greeted by the ever efficient and helpful Mana and Max - we were all in our Rooms within 15 minutes - rapid, then a good pasta Supper (8 Euros each) 100 yards away as suggested, by Mana!
Rooms (all Classic Twins) very comfortable and Bathrooms with very sophisticated Showers. (No Bath tub, but there are seats in the Shower)
Thanks also to Adrian and Paulo, ever attentive on our (usually late) visits to the Bar!
Overall excellent little hotel, very fair price, convenient location.
Tram outside the door takes you to Argentina in about 10-12 minutes and you can walk most anywhere quite quickly from there.

“Fantastic Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

I would start by saying do not be put off by the initial view of the hotel, it is beautiful inside! My partner and I visited in Nov 2011 as a treat for my birthday and had a fantastic stay. The staff are really welcoming and so helpful providing a map and information about the area including places to eat, travel links etc. The room had a lovely decor and although we were warned prior to our visit that hotel rooms in Rome are tiny we were pleasantly surprised and had plenty of space. (The bathroom was a perhaps a little on the small side but this was made up for the fab shower with all its the additional gadgets.) We didn't eat at the at the Trilussa but this is no reflection on the hotel, we simply wanted to immerse ourselves in Italian living so tried where posisble to eat where the locals did.

Travestere is a little out of the city centre but within easy walking distance and we were surprised by how close of all the main attractions are. For those of you who are not keen on walking, we were able to purchase a travel ticket for 11euros each which lasted for our 4day visit and is valid on trams and buses. However we were greeted by glorious sunshine upon our arrival in Rome which stayed throughout our visit, unusual for this time of year, but it enabled us to stroll around at a leisurely pace (donning our t-shirts) and really soak up the amazing architecture which is everywhere you look!
We preferred the little bars/cafes and restaurants in Trastevere to that of the main city centre as there was a real bohemian feel and lots of live music available which is right up our street.

We took in all of the major sights and really hope to return again soon as we felt there was still so much to see and do. We would definitely return to The Trilussa and we will take advantage of the Spa facilities when we do as our extended weekend was so jampacked we didn't manage it this time around. The roof terrace provided the perfect way to toast in the dreaded "3-Oh" with glass of bubbly in hand and stunning views across the city, truly memorable! A lovely hotel (complimented by the lovely staff), in a beautiful city, a definite thumbs up from us!

Dear Guests,
it’s a pleasure to read your words. Thank you for such a detailed review! It’s interesting for us to get aware how people live their experience here, how is their first impression when they get in the hotel (or even from outside as in your case) and how they spend their time in Rome. We are pleased to know that you liked the staff and found it useful. We are glad to help our guests and, when our job is so much appreciated, there’s no grater reward to upbuild us. We are happy that you enjoyed the hotel and Trastevere area too, with is fascinating atmosphere. We wait for your next trip, maybe in another season of the year since your last time was in autumn: since you like attractions and other events, it could be interesting for you to experience Roman life in summer time, when nightlife is even more enjoyable. Thank you for your kind words: see you soon to offer you a lovely stay! We wish you all the best! Kindest regards.

“60th Birthday trip to Rome Italy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 January 2012

We had a fantastic stay in Rome, made all the more special by our stay at the Trilussa Palace.
It started before we left London when I emailed the hotel with a request and received an immediately response from Mana Radofa from reception. I requested a surprise cake for my wife, when we checked in Mana was on duty and made sure that the cake was not mentioned. The surprise was so good that the next day when room service knocked on the door, my wife tried to turn them away as we did not order room service. We also chose a restaurant in advance, again emailed Mana who spoke to the restaurant on my behalf and confirmed the booking. When we went out Mana and Silvia took great care and as much time as we needed to make sure we did not get lost. The room was a great size. The breakfast was very good, great choice. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, go and have a great stay, the hotel is on top of great transport links, great base for your stay.

Room Tip: Book the best room that you can afford, cross check hotels own web by making a booking for the same...

“Extremely relaxing”

We have been to the Trilussa Hotel for a romantic weekend, and it has been perfect. The service is excellent. The staff is always very friendly, polite and very helpful. The room was cleaned twice a day, wood flooring, balcony, Sky and memory foam matress. The SPA experience was amazing, as you have private use of it and it's very very very nice, clean and relaxing. Plus on our arrival at the SPA, we found a prosecco bottle, juice, water, a fruit platter and snacks. The massage experience was also superb. Plus the location is good as well, as it is only 10 minutes walk from the centre of Trastevere area, renowed for its nice restaurant and nightlife and opposite the famous Sunday market of Portaportese. We would definitely recommend it, it has been a very relaxing and regenerating experience. We'll with no doubt go there again.

“4* in Trastevere, Great Expreince”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 January 2012

We booked it for 120$ per night, no breakfast, and we got upgraded to classic room (from economy - ground floor).
Small room but very well organized, small shower but a one-of-a-kind system that includes turkish bath function, radio, jet streams and more.

Staff were wonderful, the Sunday flee market is across the street as well as a tram stop and bus stops.
