“A very obvious destination for schools”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 October 2010

I, like many others, stayed here on a school trip.

Although the room was decent enough, I found it too small for three people. It was obviously a two person room, with a cot added in at the last minute.

The breakfast had little varirty, and while tasty and edible, became rather tedious for a five day trip.

The hotels two shining glories were it's proximity to Termini (one of Rome's best shopping arcades) and the staff, who were friendly and spoke good english.

The only other issue I would raise is that while most of our party were allocated rooms on the ground floor, myself and my two room mates were alone on the floor above. However, this was minor inconveinience and did not detract too much of the enjoyment of our stay.

Overall, an average hotel but one of the better ones I have stayed in with my school, and average value for money.

“Great for a school trip!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 February 2010

Stayed for a long weekend on a school trip and for a girl who is used to 4-5stars, the hotel really isn't too bad.

not of caution, the hotel is often full of school kids on trips wanting a good time, so not the best place if your wanting a full nights sleep.

The hotel is really close to a bus station/metro/ shopping centre (termini) which it great for getting about and also the cafe at the entrance is very good for meals.

The rooms...
The rooms are clean some are larger than others, some of the light fittings are dodgy and check the bed slats before you leave so that you get your deposit back! NO bed bugs. Although there are very thin sheets, so if you get cold easily you might want to pack a blanket.
The bathrooms clean, the showers hot and powerful, so really you can't complain.

The breakfast is uninspiring! no fruit or youghurt, some cereal i'd never see before, nutella, ham and cheese for breadrolls (which are very hard...so if you have braces you might want to consider taking cereal bars or buying bread in the supermarket in the ((termin)) instead) and if you don't like long life milk i suggest you buy your own.

all in all a great hotel if your only there to "sleep" and is a perfect place for school trips

“Basic”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2009

Stayed here on a school trip for the weekend. It is very, basic, no kettle in the room and the mini fridge is hot. Many of the bathroom sewage systems are poor so everytime the toliet is flushed it makes a terrible smell. There were no bed bugs as stated in some of the other reviews but the bed sheet sare like curtains! The staff are friendly and the general cleanleness is fine. The location is really good, right by the main train station. The breakfast is fine but the milk and water is warm so stick to the juices. All in all, its fine for a weekend away sightseeing if you are not planning to stay in the hotel much and want to be near to the amenities.

We stayed here with a school tour group. I was very worried before the trip by reviews about lack of hygiene. It was ideally located, clean, adequate breakfast and friendly and helpful staff.
