“Good location, clean, basic”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 August 2011

Booked through bookings.com for 2 nights after reading the reviews, wanted a room that was clean, cheap and good location - so turned out as expected.
Single room at 5th floor, quiet, fan provided, simple shower area, small thin worn towel; free wi-fi given but poor signal at the 5th floor;
breakfast located in small cramped room where you' re served orange juice, coffee & basket of hard bread roll - abit disappointing, but it is 2 star though so you get what you paid for.
Separate key given for safe deposit which is a hole in the wall - reception guy made a point of telling me to lock up my valuables & passport before leaving the hotel & to take the key with me without the key ring of the hotel address.
Guy in reception 24 hrs, no problem in walking back to hotel at night, the street has some popular restaurants, nearby convenience stores, money changer at the corner.
Overall a basic clean bed for the night at reasonable rate considering the good location.

“Very clean and good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 July 2011

The hotel is simple and very clean, breakfast was more than enough with good quality products. The location is excellent only 1 street from Termini Station which is the central node to go to all main places in Rome. The Metro is there, all tourist buses are there, easy access to airports as well. They were constantly cleaning, bathrooms clean and nice, good showers, TV and Internet free. Rooms have a little vault in the wall you can use for valuables. There are supermarkets around, ice-creams and pizza across the street, etc. But the elevator looks old, but it worked well anyway.

“Good budget hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 July 2011

A hotel located close to Termini train station (50 meters). From the hotel to the church of Santa Maria Maggiore 10 minutes and up to 15 minute walk to the Colosseum.
Rooms are small but comfortable. Unfortunately the bathroom is very small, and the radiator is too small for a cool night. However, comfort is good, rooms are cleaned daily, there are numerous television stations etc.
Breakfast is typical Italian: coffee, tea, croissant, toast with butter and jam. For a day start is enough. The staff is very helpful, providing useful information to all travelers. What mattered most: I could leave the laptop in the room (room has safe but space is enough only for a wallet or a passport) and I wasn’t affraid that can be stolen.
So a small but stylish hotel, located close to all means of transport, and safe for passengers goods.
Since we talk about Rome, Hotel Giorgina worth more than 2 stars.

“The hotel is ok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 March 2011

It is not one of the best hotels but it has a good location. The hotel is situated very near to Termini station. The rooms are with average size, they are clean and there is everything you might need. However, the bathroom is quite small.
We were disappointed of the breakfast. There is bread, jam, butter, cereals, coffee, milk and tea. No fruits or cheese and ham.
The staff isn't very friendly but they are helpful when there is a problem.

“Excelent!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 September 2010

We found the hotel here at tripadvisor and booked through booking.com. We booked for 3 days in agoust 3 double rooms for 270 € each. Very good value for money really!!

The hotel is wonderful, big rooms, bathroom, modern TVs. The hotel has a very good location, 3 streets from Termini Station and near of everything in a short walk. The breakfast-buffet was excelent with a lot of orange-juice, coffee, tea, chocolate and a lot of buiscuits too.

The hotel has free wifi service but you have to ask a code at reception-desk.

Definetely a hotel where I will go if I visit Rome again.
