“nice hotel very close to colisseo and foro romano”

This is a small and nice hotel , wonderful ubication, 2 minutes away from the ancient Rome, and so from the Campidoglio, and the great Monument to Victor Emanuel, the hotel is very clean, it has air condition, and a smal flat screen t.v. Helpful and kind staff, breakfast "continental"(coffee, croissant, toasted bread, juice and conffiture) is served in a nice terrace just in front of the hotel, very pleasant. The individual room is very small, but I saw the doble rooms, and they are regular. I really like this hotel, the only problem is that if you get front room it will be very noisy, because there are some cafés, and gelaterias, and of course a grand avenue which is Via Cavour, this avenue takes you direct to TERMINI , the railroad train station, you can make it by walking, but is about 15 o 20 minutes and is up the hill.

Room Tip: take the rear rooms, forget the view

“adorded it and recommend to everyone”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 June 2011

This hotel is situated close to the coliseum. The staff is friendly, the room is clean and hotel is cheap. Before the arrival the staff sent an email giving the instruction how to get there with the prices of each transport. Which was very helpful.
Adored my stay there and recommended it to all.

“Good enough”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 June 2011

The best in this hotel is location. I've alredy stayed there twice as I like it. If you luky you will have view from the windows to the Fori Imperiali. Just 3 minutes walking and you are near the Coloseo,10 minuts and you are on via del Corso or via Vittorio Emanuele. The rooms are small but clean. Breakfast is poor. The hotel does have small elevator. I consider it as more or less good value for money.

“What a wonderful hotel!”

I love the hotel Romano. I have stayed there on two occasions. The location is superb, the bedrooms extremely clean, breakfast very nice in the sunshine. The staff are akk very friendly and helpful, most especially the wonderful Santo who is an ambassador for Rome!!!!!

The hotel feels safe and is Largo Corrado Ricci, which has lots of little restaurants.
From my bedroom I could see across to the Forum and the Typewriter building. I would advise anyone going to Rome to book into the Romano.

“Amazing location, friendly staff, clean rooms”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 May 2011

We stayed there for 1 night in early May - 3 adults in a triple. When you walk out of the hotel, take a left, and walk 50 meters - you'll see the Colosseum just up the street. The location was perfect. The people at reception are very friendly, and helped us whenever we needed anything. The rooms were basic, but very clean. I've travelled a lot, and would recommend this hotel.
