“It is not a paradise at all!!!!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 August 2011

We relly liked the location of this hotel (15 minutes from Vatican and 1 minute from metro station), and it was the main reason, why we chose it. All the rest was AUFULL!!!!
When we moved in there was no soap and toilet paper, we asked for it - they gave without any questions.
The room itself was very little for two of us: we had to keep our bags under the bad, the bed-side tables were 'piccolissimi' how they call them in italian, we could only place a couple of thing on them, a table was also very little. But the bathroom was rather big, and I wonder why.
For air-condion there was only a ventilator, it worked really good, but occupied a lot o space and was rather noisi, so it was impossible to use it during the night. It was also impossible to have the window open during the night because of the noise in the street, so we didn't have very good sleep.
There was a fridge in the corridir, but it was very little, so I don't think that it will help, when in the hotel there will be many guests.
But the main problem was with the towels. As I know, in all hotels they change towels every day (in some hotels you should throw the towels on the floor to change them, but it is not a problem, is it?), but in this 'paradise' they change towels only once in 2 days!!!!!!!! They didn't tell us this, when we mooved in, so we were very surprised when they didn't change the towels the next day. I went to the reception and found out this 'little nice thing', but I said that the towels were dirty, so they brought us new ones, but explained that then they will chenge these towels only after two day. Two days passed, but the towels were still the same. I again went to the reception, and this time they chnge only the big towels,bu not the little ones because they didn't have clean little towels. I was really furious!!!
So think twice before you choose this 'paradise'!!!!!

“Good budget choice for great location”

The little hotel Paradise is located on the 3rd floor of a building. No breakfast facilities available. We had a very small room for two people (with shared bathroom) but it was fine. The staff was very helpful and at the end of the stay we got a reduction because the TV was not working properly. Much better to choose something in Prati (nice area) than near Termini station.
All in all, I would go back but I would surely make sure to get a bigger room.

Dear Customer,
we thank you for your review, it's very important for us to see that our services are appreciated from all our guests.
The double with French bed (120 cm ) you choose is actually smaller than a standard double room with private, but next time you'll be at the Paradise , we hope you'll appreciate our standard Double.
Best regards

“Nice, cheap, clean, ideal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 September 2010

We went for a week's sightseeing and so, with this little place being so close to the city centre (10/15 minutes walk? And a very nice walk at that) it was ideal. Free maps of the city in the lobby, clean, simple, cool rooms and nice staff. Don't think it did any breakfast but there were a few places to sit get coffee and cake on the street below so it was a nice wake up to get out and sit in the sun first thing. Subway is only about 10minutes away too - ideal place for a few quiet days away in the city.

“OK for being the only available option”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 March 2010

Rome was fully booked a month in advance because of the marathon. We have booked a french bed room with shared bathroom. When we arrived we were given a room with inside bathroom for the same price, which was very good. The room, bed and bathroom was small, but that's usual in Rome. The room needed a restyling, but it was OK. There was a problem with the hot water, it would finish at some time. The boiler needed to be reset. Since when this would happen we were always in a hurry, we had to shower with cold water. We complaint with the owner and asked for a reduction, paying 2 nights over 3. If you book in advance, you can find nicer options for the same value.

“Good for short stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 January 2010

The location is very good, next to MTR station, 15-20 mins walk to St. Peter sq. Vatican. There is supermarket nearby.

Room are clean, bed is comfortable.

Good value for the price we paid.

Just 1 point to complain about is the room scents of cigarette.
