Worst experience I have ever had. Upon returning to my room from an evening of sight seeing, I was first hit by the stench of urine and after turning the lights on saw a large puddle of urine in the middle of my floor. The hotel staff suggested that perhaps I had "forgotten" and urinated on my own floor. The urine was swirled around on the floor with a small mop and I was left with the recommendation of leaving my window open and the fan on to "air it out". I barely slept that night due to the stench and fear that someone would come in my room.

We stayed in Hotel Cressy for 5 days and 4 nights. The location is easy to find. The hotel is clean and tidy. If you are looking for an affordable hotel, i think the hotel is your best option because it's not too far from termini, have a nearby restaurants and internet cafes everything is nearby. Great location, really! Staff wise, they are very friendly, special mention to Roberto, thank you very much for suggesting places where to go and giving us directions.

If i'll ever go back to Rome again, i'll definitely go back to the Cressy. Maraming salamat sa'yo Roberto. Sa muli nating pagkikita (i'll see you again soon) hehehe. ---the 3 girls from England/Philippines (March 2008)

Like most people we left things late to book accommodation.

I was a little apprehensive, but i had no need for concern. The most important thing was the location and being so close to termini station took the stress out of the arrival process, with just a short walk from the station. From there the hostel is a good walk, train or bus ride through to the main tourist areas, yet central between the colosseum and the old city. The area is very safe and a good selection of interesting cuisine close by.

The rooms were clean, the bathrooms are quite new and well maintained. We stayed in a dorm to start, then moved to a twin which was quite spacious.

The staff very friendly, it almost felt like you were staying with friends. Highly recommended!

This hotel's net value was perfect - a key area of Rome, right next to the train station, and from where you can go anywhere in Rome or even Italy (the city and touristic buses leave from the station as well.) If you're looking for luxury or a good social scene this isn't it...even though i met some really awesome people in the same room as i was in.
The staff were really nice and helpful too, (of course that could be because I am charming and speak Italian), but they speak English as well.. Next time I'm in Rome, I will be here.
