We had originally booked at Madison Hotel on Via Marsala, which is a very noisy street. However, upon our arrival, the concierge suggested that they upgrade our room to a room in this hotel which is also owned by the same chain of hotels. We could choose and we agreed to have this upgrade.
This was indeed an upgrade: our room was very big (for Rome at least it was), spotlessly clean with an LCD television and a huge bathroom, complete with hydromassage shower. It was undoubtedly a great room and we were very happy with the room.
Breakfast was OK - served in the room on the first day but not on the second. When we enquired why, we were told that we hadn't advised the hotel what we would be having (as we had done on the first night) which was true. However, nobody had told us that we would need to fill in the breakfast form every night. Anyway, since we had a friend picking us up at the hotel, we skipped breakfast at the hotel and had a great breakfast at a bar nearby.
I would definitely stay again at this hotel since we found it to be very good value for money and a stone's throw away from Termini Station and the metropolitana. Besides, notwithstanding being so close to the station, it was an extremely quiet area.
We would definitely stay again at this hotel.
