We stayed a week at the Hotel Solis while vacationing in Rome. The hotel is very clean and provides a nice breakfast. The staff were very helpful and catered to our needs. The room was clean and bathroom was very nice. The hotel is so close to the Roman Forum you can walk there in about two minutes, 10 minutes to the Colosseum and about 20 minutes to the Trevi Fountain; what a perfect location. We would definitely stay there again and recommend this hotel to anyone.

Myself & wife stayed at this hotel last weekend (20~23 Jan) and we were very happy with the overall service we received. We stayed there from Friday ~ Monday and have absolutely no complaints at all and would absolutely recommend it. The location of the hotel is perfect for all of the major tourist locations around Rome and it is only a few minutes walk from the local tube station. The staff were extremely friendly and the hotel was clean and everything we needed for a long weekend break. As you would expect the staff were extremely knowledgeable of the local area and spoke really good English and were more than happy to help us out. There was an additional charge of 7 euros for internet access in the room for the trip, which I think is reasonable. When we go back to Rome we would stay here again. Wayne & Sadie (Swindon - UK)

A really wonderful little hotel in a fantastic location. The staff were brilliant, very helpful indeed. The rooms are basic but clean with air conditioning. For a city break or business trip of no more than a few days this really is a perfect place to stay. Planning to return to Rome later in 2012 and will defiantly stay at the Solis !

Stayed at Hotel Solis for two nights only and managed to see all interesting sights in Rome, fantastic location when you are in Rome for a short period. Close to all sights,Trastevere, and several good restaurantes.
Nice, clean and quiet hotel with kind and smiling staff. Only one stop by Metro from Termini.
Absolutely worth recommending.
Go to Rome off season - no turists, no ques anywhere and the temp. about 12-18 degrees in January. And book at guided tour at the Colosseum only 10 min. away - Roma, we´ll be back:0)

We liked very much our stay in this really very small but cosy hotel (sept. 25 to oct. 1, 2011). Its situated as to reach the important sites very quickly by foot. We especially estimated the support of the very friendly staff, namely la Signora Rita Landriscina, speaking several languages, a very friendliy lady helping us a lot! We very much would like to see her again at our next visit to Rome!
