We were worried when one room smelled smoky, another had no heat and the third (where we stayed) had a broken towel rack. But there was much on the good side, too. The beds were firm. Breakfast included eggs, ham, cheeses, fruit, pastries and cappuccino. Each motel-style room had a small, private covered outdoor sitting area enclosed by hedges -- not exactly a "garden" but still a nice touch. Although the shuttle to the subway was not frequent, it did arrive right on schedule. Computer cable in the room had a fee, but WiFi in the lobby was free. In the end, we were pleased.
Oh, and there's a pizza place just down the road (take a left on Campanelle) that was full of locals and good flavors and prices.
