“best choise in Rome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 February 2011

It is the best hotel in Rome for a budget hotel. It is very well situated ,near Colloseum and very close to San Pietro in Vincoli Church where the statue of Moise by Michelangelo is exposed. The stuff is very friendly and helpful, the breakfest is at your choise whith plenty of milk,coffe,jam,butter,etc..
They have hot water, the temperature in the room was very good, very clean rooms ,they make clean every day.We had a great time at this hotel during the nights ,because all day long we were outside walking, the hotel being situated nearly to the major points of interest in Rome:Piazza Venezia,Fontana di Trevi,Altare della Patria,Foro Romano, etc you will see.
We have been there with our daughter 6 year older, and we just walk to these objectives and many others.
So,if you want to visit Rome and not to stay all day in the hotel ,hotel Adas is your best choise.
P.S. We had booked a triple room so the size of the room anh the bathroom was properly.

“Very good value for money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 February 2011

Okay standard and good value for money. Very small room, but clean and okay breakfast (though the coffee from the machine could be better). Near the Metro and a nice quarter in the back with cafées and nice restaurants (can recommend a local restaurant with traditional Roman food just beside Cavour metro). Walking distance to all major attractions. Very close to Colosseum. Only minus is that they say they have wireless network - but it didn't work (and might never have!). Some wrote negatively about city tax - 2 euro per night. Rubbish as complaint. It is standard everywhere, and they write about it everywhere.

“Bad hotel in a great location with an ok price.”

The hotel was situated just 5 minutes walk from the old Roman ruins and 15 from the centre where the likes of the trevi and pantheon are located. Our transfer mini-bus driver initially couldnt find it and had never dropped people here before, however we soon made it. Check in is on the 3rd floor and our room on the 6th, which is also where breakfast is served. Ther are 120ish stairs or the lift, which looks like it was left by ceasar himself. Not for the fainthearted. There is a member of staff at the desk 24/7 which is good, however we were told not to take our room key out with us, to leave it at the desk when heading out, and pick it up when returning, and buzz to get into the block the hotels is in everytime. Thus meaning anybody could then turn up at the desk, state the room number and then are given the room key as different people were always on the desk. There was also a tax of 2 euro per night per person that the government has introduced which we were not aware of. The rooms are tiny, a bit on the chilly side at night as the radiator was tiny and the bed completely rock solid, even for a 23 year old. The smell from the shower was disgusting, and breakfast pretty basic.

“The room was extremely clean. We were in...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 September 2010

The room was extremely clean. We were in room 605 on the 6th floor. The elevator and reception starts on 2nd flr and stops on the 5th flr.

Breakfast includes coffee, croissant, cereal, milk and juices. 7-10am.

It's very close to the Cavour Metro stop. A slightly longer walk to the Termini station.
