Fabulous little hotel - a couple of minutes walk from The Vatican and St Peters square, the rooms were spacious and clean, the shower always hot. the staff were friendly and helpful, and the Dolce Vita cafe that supplied our daily breakfast served the best croissants I have ever tasted. We will miss everything about this hotel - even the rickety lift (That fortunately never let us down). Will definitely stay here again when we come back!

This hotel is located just steps from the Vatican. The rooms are large and clean. The staff was very polite and helpful with all our questions. Thanks to them for a great stay.

The funny thing is that I actually booked a hotel called Florida but I received a confirmation from a hotel called Joli. Since the address was the same, I thought that the hotel had changed the name. Then it turned out that these are 2 different hotels! Florida is on the 2nd floor and Joli is on the 6th.
At first Joli seemed dark and scary (we arrived late in the evening) but in broad daylight it seemed ok. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean but there is no division between smoking and non-smoking rooms. Our room was definitely smoking and the smell was obvious. But since we kept the window open at all times, it didn't bother us too much.
The bathroom is one big shower cabin which sucks. After taking a shower you can enter the bathroom only barefoot.
Apart from that, Joli is good value for money though I'd rather stay in a different hotel next time.

Great cheap hotel 5 mins from the Vatican. The room was clean & had its own bathroom and the staff were very friendly and helpful. A great place to stay on a budget.
