"+" Location is near Termini station - about 5 minutes walk, so it’s close to metro and buses.
Free wi-fi.
Low price.
"-" I’ve seen few cockroaches.
There are bed bugs! (bed insects - cimici). Insects were living in a bed, I’ve seen them a lot, caught them, I’ve seen small blood spots on the bed-sheets and I’ve been bitten.
The Hotel is on the fifth floor of an old multi-apartment dirty building and the elevator is antique and very small, with hand-opening/closing doors. (I was lucky, lift was not broken! In other case I could not climb to the 5th floor with my bag )
Air conditioner for extra payment - 5euro per day
Staff did not speak English.
I was asked to pay for the room for a week upon arrival (at first day)
I was asked and have to leave the room at 10 am (instead of 12 am) in the last day.
The noise from the rooms and reception: I’ve heard all door buzzes and rings to the reception…
The breakfast was budget: bread, jam, butter and tea or coffee, always the same food.
Furniture is very old.
The sheets and towels were changed at once during a week
No shower gel/shampoo, just a small piece of soap
Shower is fixed on the wall pouring all around not me, the shower disperser semi-blocked.
TV has 7-8 channels in Italian, I don’t remember channels in English or any other languages.
Some rooms are located above reception floor and you should go there by spiral stairs (I’ve seen a poor lady who was dragging her suitcase there…)
Bathroom was big enough but dirty: a lot of hairs and smelt bad, toilet bowl was dirty and wasn't cleaned at all during my stay.
The owners are quite rude and don’t care about keeping the hotel up and to make guests feel happy, they.
