A family owned hotel (3 brothers). We dealt with Mossimo, who was friendly and helped with our questions regarding sightseeing and dining out. Booked our 3-night stay through Wotif but may have got a better deal by dealing direct with the hotel. Breakfast was good, bed was comfortable, central heating (can be cool in January), rooms very clean, with 'fridge and minibar. The location is convenient; close to Termini Station (access to both metro lines, also buses/trains to the airport). A short walk to San Lorenzo for cheap and cheerful restaurants (try Formula 1 Pizza). It would have been good to have tea and coffee making facilities; occasionally water in the shower was not quite hot enough. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

I stayed at this hotel for six nights in December 2011. I could accept pickup service to the airport for more than five nights. I felt sorry for me only, for all that, staff kindly offered pickup service. As I had to push the bell to enter the hotel and the floor, I could stay with security. Room is very clean, spacious, and quiet, with large bed, minibar and air conditioner. I could be in good shape. Attractive courtyard can be seen from the window. I felt as if I were in the medieval world. Bathroom is equally very clean and spacious. The room is cleaned up every day. I could stay comfortably. Breakfast of blood oranges, yogurt, cappuccino, espresso were delicious, especially bread and pastry were. Various Danish pastries and bread were served, it was fun to choose which to eat every morning. Access from the termini station is just across the Via Marsala, within a few minutes’ walk.　The airport bus runs on the Via Marsala, and the bus stop is nearer than the station, on the extension of the street in front of this hotel. The airport bus is cheaper than the train, only six euros. Staff members are very friendly and kind. They can speak plain English. This hotel contributed to my Roman holiday, it can stand comparison with the four and five star hotels that I had ever stayed, on the contrary, this hotel is best. I was impressed with Roman historic sites and this hotel, and so, I want to stay again.

Eight of us spent two nights at this hotel (in 4 rooms) at the end of November. We all agreed that the small hotel was very satisfactory. It was very clean, and the owners and staff were very helpful. They allowed us to leave our luggage beyond check out time so that we could do more sightseeing before our scheduled train departure. The hotel was very affordable and included good continental breakfasts. Moreover, it had a great location -- about a 5-minute walk from Roma Termini so we didn't need to take any taxis from the train station to the hotel.

When we were dropped off a the train station late one night I must admit I was a little bit frightened by the area however my first impression was completely wrong. We walked to the hotel from the train station and found it easily. I loved the old building the hotel is in, it has a great old world charm. The elevator was so tiny it fit two of us and our luggage. So romantic! Our room was LARGE, and extremely clean. We had just flown in from Paris and our room there was so tiny so we were expecting the same in Rome but we were really pleasantly surprised! The bathroom was a great size as well the only thing missing was a bathtub, it only had a shower. It would have been nice to soak in a tub after hours and hours of walking during the day but that is so minor. The hotel was very quiet and I loved how our huge window had shutters we could open and close and it looked over a courtyard. The staff was extremely friendly and the breakfast was fantastic! It was a good start to everyday. The main thing for me when I travel is whether or not the hotel is clean, quiet and close to everything and this one was perfect. Next time I am in Rome I will stay there again for sure.
