For some reason, we were told at check in that we weren't stay in the actual hotel but a room down the road. The room we were placed in must of been an old apartment that had been changed into the hotel room. My brother-in-law had the other room in the 'apartment'. Ours was massive (a huge amount of wasted space, it could do with a couch or something in it) the room also had a little balcony (view was nothing exciting), my brother-in-laws room was TINY barely enough to walk around bed. Our first night there the heater wouldn't work and I froze! 2nd night I managed to get it work and was right for the rest of the 3 nights we were there. Bathroom was ok, shower was tiny (my husband struggled to wash his hair it was that small!) But it was clean and liveable for the time we were there. Breakfast is pretty average, so don't get excited if your breakfast is included (coffee was good though!)
The saving grace of this hotel is the location. You would struggling getting somewhere better for £99 per night. The Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps are really close and there is a metro just down the road.
Oh and you must got the San Crispino Gelati (near the Trevi Fountain) - life change ice-cream!!!
