“Close to the Airport”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 February 2011

This is a pretty standard hotel, lacking any outstanding features.
It has 4 stars, but I would say this is an overestimation. The double room we had was large, with new furniture, comfy bed, good lighting, very nice sony tv. The bathroom however, was not amazing, satisfactory at most.
Staff was not extremely helpful, we were left in front of the desk with our luggage while our details were introduced into the computer. Moreover, nobody introduced us to our room and it took us a while to figure out how to turn on the lights. The place seemed understaffed, understandable given the low season.
The location is good if you have a car as it is very close to Rome's ring road and Ciampino airport. Apparently there is a shuttle service to the closest underground station. It is located in a shopping mall, closed on Sundays, apart from the McDonald's restaurant. The view from our window was on the local IKEA.
This was a bargain, however: 47 € for a double.

“Perfectly Adequate”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 April 2009

Spent two nights here on a business trip. Initial impressions were not favourable - arrived hungry at 20:00 on a Sunday only to discover there is no restaurant. The receptionist directed me to a restaurant just 5 mins walk away which was great, so a good save! The room was clean and well equipped but horribly warm. Seems that the central AC had not been turned on so I could only move the warm air around. Breakfast was reasonable.
This is primarily a business hotel. It is in the middle of a business district. There is a shopping arcade in the same block and a monster Ikea across the road. Central Rome is half an hour away by car. Room rate was 80€ per night

“We enjoyed our stay very much”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 March 2009

We were with a tour group and extended our stay in Rome at this hotel. The hotel was in a shopping centre with a big supermarket. So shopping, food, etc was readily available. Room was big , clean and modern. Breakfast was great. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and gave us all the information, including a tourist map. Transport was easy and readily availbale and took 20-30 mins to Rome by bus and Metro for 1 Euro one-way. Bus stop was at the front of the hotel. Only one stop by bus to the Metro and two stops on return. Taxi to FCO airport is available via the reception at a fixed rate of 55 Euro.

As it was the centre of one of the greatest civilisation in the world and centre of a religious faith, it was worth it by staying longer in Rome. There were lots of history, culture and food. Very easy to get around in Rome. The Sistine Chapel is a must see. The original paintings of many of the world's greatest artists are there. We did not take the tourist bus as Rome was quite a small city and the Metro coverage and a bit of walking for sight seeing was all that was required to leisurely cover the city.

People were friendly and nice. We enjoyed our stay very much.

“Great hotel, breakfast and service good, location not bad”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 August 2008

Found by chance on outskirts of Rome, thsi is a ncie modern clean hotel. The staff were very helpful, spoke great English, looked after our bags whilst we went to Rome for the day and showed us where to pay the €6 for all day parking, bargain we thought. Breakfast was great, large buffet, room more than sufficient, bit small but modern and clean. It is a way out of Rome but not at all inconvenient as you are one bus stop to the metro, metro reasonable price and bus was free. Remember to catch bus on other side of road from hotel.

“Hotel is far away from Rome”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 July 2008

The hotel is 25 minutes by metro from Rome and then you have to take a bus to get to the hotel, it is awful to get there. The metro to this station stops at around 9 pm. I hated my stay here because it felt like I was isolated from the rest of the world. The lady that was there when I checked in wasn´t very friendly and didn´t even point the way to the elevators. The pay movies were oldies like Grease, Footloose, Airplane...You also have to pay for internet acess. I do not recomend this hotel. Stay in Rome and pay a little more.
