“Great value and clean”

We stayed at this hotel in July 2011 and loved every minute of it. The hotel is slightly out of the centre of Rome but as it was the peak of the summer we hired a scooter and this actually made our weekend. We stayed for 3 nights and paid about £140 which included breakfast and the hotel was great value for money. We had secure parking for the scooter round the back of the hotel and the hotel staff couldn't do enough for us. Our room was on the top floor and was fantastic, the bathroom was small but thats to be expected in a European city. We had a huge balcony which was lovely to sit on as it was so warm. The room was clean and the breakfast had a bit of everything. If you dont mind staying 10 minutes from the centre and want value for money then i would recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: The rooms on the top floor have big balconies and no one looking over them so very private.

“Rude staff, very unfriendly, location 3 train stops west of Vatican, not like they say in promotions.”

If you don't mind hiking out of the city center on the metro to get to your hotel, or if you are driving a car, than this hotel will work for you. If you are on foot/using local transporation, it is a bit of a hike. Metro ride to train station Termini is good 30 minutes. If you are coming from the airport and going to the hotel, you should plan on over an hour getting there, the Leonardo express if a good 40 minutes into Termini, then the metro over to the hotel is another good 20-30 minutes.

“Stayment in Rome”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 January 2012

The Hotel is very clean and comfortable, the service is very good, it includes breakfast and is pretty decent, the only thing is that is not very close to downtown, you need to take subway is not far away, but it takes like 20 minutes to the "Vatican" or 25 minutes to "fontana di Trevi" is you have time and you are use to subway it really worth. The hotel is located 5 minutes away from "CORNELIA" station.

Compared to other hotels in Italy, this is a very American style hotel, they speak very well English and Spanish. The price is decent.

If you like my comment rate it pls, thanks.

“Don't have high expectations”

Average Hotel located quite outside of the city centre. You should be able to stay at this hotel cheaply, in which case it is an okay option. Its close proximity to Vatican City and the Metro are a positive.

“Small but Comfortable”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 December 2011

Stayed at Waldorf Roma for 2 nights in June 2011. The room was very small with hardly any space to move around but were comfortable with all modern ameneties. Bathrooms were clean, Service was prompt and good. The location is decent with the bus terminus and a metro station within walking distance. Would recommend taking the breakfast option - the buffet was very good and if you intend to spend the day roaming around the city - what better than to tuck into a hearty breakfast. Internet connection is available in the lobby for free use of the the hotel's guests but problem is there is only one so youmay have to wait a while.
