Whilst some of the comments have been less than flattering my girlfriend and I found the place to be great. Michele was very helpful upon arrival and was more than happy to sit down and avail us of good restaurants locally and provide information about transport.
TIP: Book room nine - the one with the red wall (this was the one I had seen on Arke webiste prior to booking) it is the only room with a balcony and has a private ensuite. As far as i know the other rooms utilise a shared bathroom.
As for getting there, it is a bit far from the Termini but all you have to do is get bus 64 from outside the terminal. 2nd last stop and you are there. Buses run all the time, so getting back in to town is very easy from one street down.
Also whilst it was not mentioned in guides that I had seen there is a pizzeria across diagnally from the main road called Pizzeria Goose - I am not lying when i say that the pasta meals we had at this restaurant far surpassed anything else we ate in Rome, and i am pretty anal about my food.
Also Rome is loud and very busy - was lovely returning to this place at the end of the day and having peaceful rest.
Thanks Michele, Milly and I loved it.
Steve.
