“Nice hotel for this price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2011

In January 2011 we stayed 3 nights in this hotel. The female staff was very friendly. The room was clean but we had only two thin woolen blankets (no duvet). The sound insulation could have been better but we had no problems with the noise because we were always so tired in the evening. It's not loud but we could hear some noise from the room above.
Breakfast was ok: cereals, toast, fruits (no cheese or cold cuts). WIFI is free. 15 minutes walk to Termini and 3 minutes to the next metro station (Manzoni).

“A decent hotel with beautifully stylish rooms”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 October 2010

We booked the hotel through www.booking.com and got a great deal.

Considering that we were in Rome at the peak time fof the year, the hotel was great value for money. Not very far from colosseum it is located at a very quiet street near a metro.

The restaurant and rooms are very beautifully decorated and the staff are very efficient and friendly. We looked forward to going back to room for a comfortable night sleep after a long tiring touring around all the attrction. The rooms were super clean...

On the day we checked-in the lady at the reception gave us a lot of information along with a map of the city which was very useful and informative. She marked every attraction in the city on the map.

Considering the amount of Pizza and Pasta we were having in Rome, the range of fruits available at breakfast was very welcoming.

Highly recommend the hotel.

“great value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 October 2010

quite a bargain for rome. No frills (no english tv or kettle-take your own but don't forget adapter) but clean, confortable beds, big enough room, quiet location, close to metro (it would be quite a walk to the old town!) Best of all copious breakfast in quaint room (there's even a grand piano if you are gifted) though no eggs and poor coffeewhich is a shame for a country renounedf or it. Roof top terrace great for aperitifs. Impressive view towards San giovanni. Staff friendly.
easy connect to ciampino without going through termini i.e metro + bus

“The Price is Right”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 October 2010

The service was very good and the staff was friendly. We had a "standard" room. It was small, but with a very comfortable bed and it was very clean. Since we were out all day it was perfect for us. It was located on a very quiet street and was in walking distance of a very good restaurant called Romantica. We could also walk to the train station Termini and was very close to a Metro stop. It came with a free breakfast which was forgettable. It also had a common-use laptop in the lobby that did not connect very well to the www. But we are not complaining, the price was right at less than $100 Canadian per night.

“Helpful Staff, quiet room”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 September 2010

We arrived one day later than expected. We had alerted hotel, but weren't sure whether we would be charged fro that firstnight or not. We weren't! After putting us in a triple room that we didn't need, we moved into a double that was perfect. The room was very quiet and clean. The air conditioning worked without extra charge. Everyone that worked there was pleasant and helpful. I would stay there again. Oh, and it was only a block and a half to the Metro.
