“Worst Everrrrr”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 November 2011

What I can say that maybe the 3 stars of these Hotel are maybe used for decoration because this is not a 3 stars hotel at all.
The normal room is really too small.
Forget about the breakfast it's just a tea, coffee & cake. Ahh there was a couple of cheese slices :)
There was false fire alarm twice in 1 day, 1st was 9pm & 2nd was 4 am, you can imagine how was that night.
Your important stuff in your safe box are not always safe, 1 day I complained about the bed so the reception guy took the decision to change the room by himself & transferred all my luggage without noticing me even & the most important he opened the safe box & transferred everything without my permission, so this is an indication that anyone in the reception can do whatever he wants to ur room, it their Hotel :) :) :)
really the room is awful. worst hotel I have ever been.
I can say high price for what they are offering. By the way it is not central Rome, it's not too far from city center but it is not.

“terrible room, awful attitude!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 November 2011

We booked this hotel for my 50th bithday celebration- I travelled with my 21 yhear old son and specified a twin room- when we arrived they claimed they didnt have a twin room and onyl after much deliiberation agreed to put a camp bed in the room for 1 night and move us to a twin the next day!- completely unsuitable! my son is 6foot 5 tall! - the next morning we politely asked when our new room would be ready-the very aggressive manager told us that he had never said that and because we had accepted a camp bed for the first night they wouldnt move us ! we were so upset and had to go out and find another hotel and incur the full cost for the novocentro- only aftert going back to check o9ut did he apologies and ask us please not to complain to easy jet or write a bad review on trip advisor- and he then tod us he would find us another room! appauling- hotel room really small, down a shabby backstreet , breakfast despite reviews was poor with no fresh fruit- dont go there if you can possibly avoid it!- there are much better hotels not far away and nearer the colusseum for not much more money!!!- additionally hotel was really noisy at night- walls paper thin

Room Tip: if you want a twin room you wont stand a chance!

“hi price for medium qualitity”

Beware, iam used to stay in nice and good hotels. So my review will be made by someone that as hi expectations.
I went there and stayed 6nights. The location is good, 15min.walking to Colosseum, and 5min walk to metro. You dont find any good restaurant in the area.
About the staff, was awful, the manager, put us in the 401Room, wich is a kind of a dollhouse, no-one can move there! So i had to complain, and then they moved me to another room,i guess they put people there just to see if they dont complain...
Another thing! The price that you agree with the hotel, don't mention the EXTRA 2€/per person/per night, that you have to pay! they must forget when i asked to confirm the price.. the lady of course started talking italian, when i asked what was that extra that wasn't on my reservation...just silly.
They dont change towels, the Breakfast was poor. The beds were terrible, when Iie down i was literally sank by the mattress!!! I had to awake at 6am cause, the window, just had a courtain but the sun entered with full power...Rome is tiring to visit because you have to walk a lot, and all you want at the end of night is to rest,so all i wanted was a nice sleep, but the bed was so bad, that in the next day,i was already tired!
Conclusion, if you have to pay 120€/night(average),just choose another hotel!!! This is definitely a 50€/per night HOTEL!

“Nice hotel for this price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2011

In January 2011 we stayed 3 nights in this hotel. The female staff was very friendly. The room was clean but we had only two thin woolen blankets (no duvet). The sound insulation could have been better but we had no problems with the noise because we were always so tired in the evening. It's not loud but we could hear some noise from the room above.
Breakfast was ok: cereals, toast, fruits (no cheese or cold cuts). WIFI is free. 15 minutes walk to Termini and 3 minutes to the next metro station (Manzoni).

“A decent hotel with beautifully stylish rooms”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 October 2010

We booked the hotel through www.booking.com and got a great deal.

Considering that we were in Rome at the peak time fof the year, the hotel was great value for money. Not very far from colosseum it is located at a very quiet street near a metro.

The restaurant and rooms are very beautifully decorated and the staff are very efficient and friendly. We looked forward to going back to room for a comfortable night sleep after a long tiring touring around all the attrction. The rooms were super clean...

On the day we checked-in the lady at the reception gave us a lot of information along with a map of the city which was very useful and informative. She marked every attraction in the city on the map.

Considering the amount of Pizza and Pasta we were having in Rome, the range of fruits available at breakfast was very welcoming.

Highly recommend the hotel.
