We had to stay at this hotel as Hotel Manfredi was full for our last night. It was a big mistake. Please see separate review for Hotel Manfredi which is in the same building. Hotel Forte was so much below our expectations. The only good thing is obviously the location. There was not even a room to leave our luggage. They just left them on the corridor. We did not even consider having breakfast at the hotel, therefore I cannot comment on the breakfast. The room was a standard room but it was very tiny even for Rome standards. There was no place to put our luggage. We were too tired to look for another hotel, but I really wish that we did!

We were with our daughter in Rome and had a triple room booked at the Hotel Forte for 5 days. This was an excellent choice. The room was adequate on the size, very clean and the bathroom even had a bathtub. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Located near the Spanish Steps, are also within reach of many attractions on foot. As the hotel is located in a side street, it is far from the Roman road. Only from 7:30 am it is loud for half an hour when school starts. If we at some point again in Rome, Hotel Forte will again be first choice.

Very nice hotel in the city centre - basically close to everything. Good breakfast for Italy, very helpful staff which is speaking several languages, clean rooms - we stayed in a standard double room and it was perfect for the 2 of us, very clean! Bathroom was very clean, too. All in All a very good *** hotel ! I would definitley book it again. Rome is a stunning city, you find yourself in the middle of historical sites everywhere. Very fascinating!

A rather late review as our stay was early September 2011. We found this hotel to be in a quiet location but still close to everything. We loved the choices at breakfast as a cooked breakfast is not always available in Rome. The staff were friendly and helpful and our room clean and a good size for 2 as we were not there to stay in our room all day!!! The bottle of Chianti in our room was delicious and a nice welcoming touch. Would recommend a visit to this quaint hotel near the Spanish Steps.
